So you've found this account, the owner is really cool, you have loads in common and you really want to be friends with them. So you send them a quick 'hey', hoping to get a reply. And you do get a reply. Now you don't know what to say, you don't want to seem lame. What can you talk about? How can you get this conversation rolling? Its harder than in real life, or is it?

What you'll find is that most people on here are amazing and are extremely interesting. What I personally think is that anyone who enjoys reading in their free time is going to be fun to talk to, it means that they have a strong imagination.
Conversations are only awkward if you make them, don't do the stereotypical 'hey, what's up'. I know that people who send me really unique first messages are the type of people who I know instantly will be interesting to talk to.
Start off with an ice breaker. Crack a joke. Say something random. Catch that person's attention.
