Some writers start writing a book, focusing solely on that one single book. But when that book comes to a close they have to ask themselves a very important question- should they write a sequel?
If you're in the same boat then consider these things:
1) do you have enough story to make a sequel? What can your sequel be about?
2) Do your readers want a sequel? If you don't know- ask them?
3) Are you going to be committed to writing a sequel even though you know it won't get as many reads as your first book?
4) are you going to expand your books into a series?
Think about all these things before planning to do/not do a sequel!
