1. Don't promote your stories on other people's work. The writer will most likely delete your comment or call you out for being rude. All in all it will give you a bad reputation.
2. Don't plagiarise. It sounds simple but copying someone's work will really, REALLY piss them off.
3. Don't bash other genres because you don't personally like them. I'm sure there are many people who write FanFiction that hate Horror books but you don't see them bashing Horror books. Every genre has good books in it and every genre has crap books in it.
4. Learn the 'club rules' on the club threads on Wattpad and don't make the mistake I did the other day where my thread got closed. I didn't read the rules beforehand... Whoops :/
5. Don't spam people asking them to read your book, be polite about it.
6. Don't write a gazillion messages a day on your message board- this will piss off people who get emails for every message that people they follow put up.
7. Don't compare books. Just because you believe one book is better than the other and deserves more reads doesn't mean you have to say it out loud.
8. Don't pick up on every grammatical mistake someone makes unless they've asked you to
9. Don't continue to read a book and make snarky comments if you don't enjoy the book.
10. Don't hate on people, especially people who are young and still figuring things out.
11. Don't hate on cliches, let them be jeez.
