The Question : Chapter 10

Kate's POV

          I slowly open my right eye, them my left. I very slowly sit up and start to observe my room. I look over at the side of my bed to see a very familiar bot sleeping there. Through closer inspection I saw that it was Damian. I yawn and rub my eyes. "I must be hallucinating." I say to myself.

          After about 5 minutes of me rambling with my mind i shake him awake. "5 more minutes!" He slurred. He rolled to his side to find no bed there and he fell off. He groaned and slowly picked himself up. He looked around and realized who's room he was in. "Oh uh sorry" he mumbled, and started to walk out. "Wait!" I grabbed his wrist remembering the question. 

          "Now that you have the time...What was that question you wanted to ask so badly?" I smirked. "Oh well-uh---I'll tell you in...uh..My room?Yea my room!" He stuttered lightly grabbing my wrist and he pulled me off to his room. He sat on his bed and I took a seat next to him. "Ley me tell you the back story before I ask the question" He said quickly. 

          I nodded and gave him that look. "Well a while ago when we were just 13-14 I had developed a crush on you...I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend...but was to late. Yes I Damian al gul Wayne got scared about a girl! That day that we were walking back to the manor...I finally had the courage to ask you out..But friking Britney and her fat men kidnapped yo and- you know the rest. When I saw you by your own grave I was flattered that we could be together but you didn't remember. But here we are now. I was a total dick-head to you and I'm sorry... I really wanted you ask you to be my girlfriend..." he sighed and pulled out the golden Kate necklace I had had before.

        "So what's your answer?" He said nervously. He was blushing so much, he looked like a tomato. I was blushing a lot as well. A single tear came down my cheek and I gave him my answer. "Oh my gosh I'm flattered!" I gasp and take the 'Kate' necklace from his hands.

          " I hate to admit it..But in that life time I had before I had a big crush on you! I was so afraid that Britney would get through to you first. But when you took those bullets for me I blamed myself. I didn't want to be around you, because i didn't want you to get hurt again. and besides my Mother forbid me from seeing you. But this life time is different." I said wiping my face.

          Damian looked very nervous when I said that."My answer is...Of course!" I cheer hugging him tightly. That's when the water work started flowing. He wiped my cheek and kissed me. I kissed back of course! Then I heard a noise from outside of the door. I pulled away as quick as I could. I flipped on the TV and turned on a random channel.

          It was apparently on hunting whales. We both stare at the screen confusion. 

Then you carefully aim for the blow hole. and .....FIRE!

          Me and Damian cringed at the sight. " See Damian, Don't be a jerk like him and hunt whales!"  I joked. "Nothing will stop me!" He chuckled back. "I will stop you!" I yell and I tackle him onto the floor. "Ah...Kyle!! get off!!" he grunts in between paints for air. "NEVER THIS IS FOR THE WHALES!!" I yell back. The door creeks open and we saw Mari standing in the door way.

          "are you two alright?" She asked crossing her arms. Me and Damian scramble to get to our feet. "Uh Yea...I just stopped Damian from hunting whales" I clarified nudging Damian's arm. "I wasn't going to hunt them in the first place!" He said furrowing his brows. "Alright then..So Alfred wanted me to tell you that dinner was ready." She scoffed and stormed out.

          "So later would you want to go out somewhere?" Damian continued. " Like a Date?" I snickered. "Just answer the stupid question!" Damian growled. "Well it's not like I have better plans so sure." I smiled and walked down the stairs and into the dinning room.

Mari's POV

          Damian was supposed to ask me out first! I was standing there and listening to their whole conversation! He liked me until that stupid Kate girl came back, and ruined everything!! I will do everything in my power to break them apart!
