Some Night! : Chapter 11

Kate's POV

          Damian didn't tell me where he was taking me, probably because he didn't know where we were going in the first place. I didn't really dress that nice because i didn't feel like squeezing myself into a dress. I wore my grey sweat shirt with some skinny jeans. I pulled my long blonde hair up into a ponytail, and threw on a head band. I put on some neutral makeup then i was done!

          I sat on my bed scrolling my social media. It was around 8:30, and I heard some knocking on my door."Come In" I approved, my eyes not leaving my phone. "Ready to go?" Damian asked poking my shoulder. "Yea let's go" I groaned slowly picking my self up from my bed. "Where are we even going?" I replied smirking. "You'll see..." He said pulling me out of my room.

           Damian and I stepped into the limo Alfred was driving."To the movies Alfred" Damian commanded. "As you wish master Damian" You could hear his faint voice. "You Just thought of that didn't you."  I continued. " Maybe...But anyways we should be arriving shortly" he smiled. I rolled my eyes and returned the smile.

          We arrived and we got our tickets. We went up to the counter to get some snacks. We got a super large popcorn to share, then we eat got out own slurpie. I got the blue raspberry, and he go the cherry. we took our seats and the movie started not long after.

          Turns out we were watching a horror movie. Every time there was a jump scare i just about jumped 10 feet up into the air. Damian started to hold my hand, then every time a jump scare came up again, I squeezed his hand so tight, that I probably cut off circulation. Then it came to a very gory scene so I looked away. Then Damian turned his head...and well it happened again! we kissed!

           Then I hear someone sneeze...Then before you knew it something cold and wet went down my back. I broke away and jumped from the sudden coldness. I look up and see Mari sitting there with her little innocent face. "Can we leave?" I whisper into Damian's ear. "Sure." He said. We walked out, I Went to the Bathroom so I could get somewhat cleaned up.

          This was my favorite sweatshirt...and she ruined it! I was trying to clean up what i could, then I heard the sound of footprints enter the bathroom.according to the reflection in the mirror it was Mari.Unless she was here to apologize i didn't want to see her. She pulled my ponytail, and like a puppet I jerked back.

          "What do you want?" I sneered. "I want you to stay away from my Damian" She shouted. "Who said he was yours?" I shout back trying to get my hair out of her grip."Don't talk to him or even touch him anymore!" She spat. "And why shouldn't I?" I sassed. "You'll regret it!" She thretened and her eyes turned purple. She let go of my hair. I just rolled my eyes and left the bathroom.

          "Come on Dames lets go!" I sputtered. "Woah what's wrong?" he begun." That stupid Mari girl! I can't believe her out of all people would threaten me like that!" I pouted. "What did she say?" Damian asked in a worried tone. "She said I couldn't talk to you, or even touch you...and if i did she said i would regret it." I said, sounding stressed. 

          Damian put a hand on my shoulder. "As long as I'm here nothing bad will ever happen to you!" He assured. I looked up to him, and he put a hand on my chin...and well we kissed once again. And this time no interruptions! But what we didn't know was that the batmobile showed up...and Bruce was in there....watching us the whole time.

          We broke apart when we heard the honking of the horn. We both got in the back seat. We sat there in silence before Bruce asked."So how was the movie?" Me and Damian both looked at each other with confused looks. We stayed silent. We arrived back at the batcave. and he told Damian to get out of the car.

          He mouthed the words good luck to me as he slowly got out of the car. I was waiting for the painfully long lecture...But he just drove off. He stopped some where that looked familiar. Crime Alley...He told me to get out. I got put and he rolled down the window. "And never some back!" He slurred. then with that he was gone...

          So yea he basically just kicked me out...Just F*cking peachy!

Damian's POV

          After I got out of the car My Father drove off with Kate. I thought nothing of it, because he usually drives around when he lectures us. Thinking nothing of it I went on with my daily business. Hours passed and no sigh of Kate. My Father arrived a hour ago, but no Kate came out and tackled me...

          I went up to My Father to ask him about Kate."Father have you seen Kyle?" I asked tapping his shoulder. "You will not be seeing her anymore...None of us will" He said in a deep voice. "What have you done with Kyle!!!" I frantically say. I run off and out on my Robin costume.

          I was just about to get on my motor bike, but i was stopped."What do you want Drake?" I stammered, narrowing my eyes at him. "Ok jeez, what are you doing, it's not even your night to patrol." He questioned.

          "looking for Kyle!" I say if it's the most obvious thing in the world."I'll help he says jumping onto his motor bike."Fine, but you'll have to keep up!" I yell leaving the cave on my bike. Tim followed closely behind. I installed a tracker on Kate's necklace and her location was....in crime alley..

          I speed up my bike knowing that it's not safe there. I get to a ditch like area to see two figures fighting.One was shooting purple star bolts and the other was doing various flips and throwing pushes. I assumed one was Mari and the other was Kate.

          I was about to chime in but Tim held me back.Everything went well until Kate was hit with a star bolt..then another...then another...Her cries of pain were unpleasant. I threw a baterang at Maris leg.She saw it coming and she dodged it.She saw i was standing right there so she left.

        Tim and I ran over to Kate, Thank goodness she was found with only minor burns. But she had various bruise covering her body. Kate looked up and saw me and Tim standing there. She tried to stand up but was way to sore. "Some night" She chuckled. Tim and I gave her a smile knoing that she was alright.

          i picked her up and put we on my back. she rested her head on my shoulder. I sat down on my motor bike, and told her to hold on. She wrapped her arms around my waist, then we were back on our way to the manor...
