Forty Four : kloe Unexpected ties

I was feeling like I was really maturing into the Dons King! I was doing what papi had been preparing me for!

This meeting was so essential for us as a west coast mafia; it would open all the east coast doors to big business!

After the stripe id just earned my name was ringing bells of respect over here!!

We were set to meet with none other than Chanci a well respected plug! He had the keys to the city!

We walked into the Italian restaurant dressed to kill in all black Chanel print less dress and my guys dean and Jef were suited in a zegna suits that rain $3,000 deep a piece!

Appearance was important in these cases, so we came dressed to kill as well as to represent the black mafia now that two woman were on the thrown!

The hostess guided us to the very back of the packed restaurant where sitting at the extravagant table was Chanci with two men for guards.

"Greetings miss kloe." Chanci said as we stood before him.

" how do you do?" I replied without a smile.

"So.so, please be seated."

I set down in front of the flamingo pasta placing my clutch on the side which housed the pistol id received for my birthday.

Chanci was at least 6'4 with a dark midnight complexion and a strong jaw line.

He was well respected on this end and had made quite a name for himself.

"It's quite the honor to meet you miss kloe, you've made a name for yourself on this end!" Chanci started without making eye contact threw the dark shades he was wearing.

"A name you say.... Please enlighten me on what you've heard?"

"Only great things I see you have your fathers blood in you... He didn't die in vein."

"Why thank you.... The feelings mutual your name rings quite a few bells... Which bring me to the honor it is to have you doing business with the black mafia."

"The pleasure is all mine, you're one of many of my new affiliates I'll be meeting with today." Chanci stated grinning.

"Well I'm sure they didn't bring the interest as I have." I noted cuing Jef and dean to sit the black suit cases down.

  Once  Chanci had them in front of him he had his men check To Make sure everything was there.

   The tallest one leaned in to whisper in chanci's ear which in return made him grin.

  I knew they were discussing the interest we'd added.

"Business with you all might just be better I restate." Chanci smirked.

"So we can consider the deal closed." I replied a bit proud of myself.

"Of course."

"Well then we'll be on our way."

"Enjoy the city." Chanci replied standing to tell me farewell.

We both stood and he pulled me in for a hug and then handshake before, I turned to leave.

As we walked I could here him on his phone saying "got damn it, I can only do so much!" Before his men ran us down insisting we needed to discuss a more important detail on the market.

We returned and Chanci apologized for leaving out such a essential detail before we finalizing the deal!

     Within the next few moment we closed the deal and were lead out where I made the call to Claudia to inform her we'd sealed the deal.

     "Girl you making the mafia proud!" Dean said as we walked to the Italians restaurants door.

"Well that's my only goal, now time for this long ass flight back!" I giggled as we entered the parking lot.

     The sun was setting by now and the night life of Atlanta was just beginning.

       Jef hadn't said much these last few days it was as if he had a lot on his mind! I didn't want to pressure him so I have him some space.

    We had closed this big deal together and now was nearly the time for celebration after the drive to the airport.

          "Who driving?" Dean asked holding up the keys as we made it to the jaguar.

"Not me, let kloe drive... Just don't kill us!"  Said Jef making us all laugh.

  Dean tossed me the keys and I reached for the door; grasping the handle; when a strong force thrusted me from the car tossing my body yards away with the EXPLOSION!!

    Metal pieces from the jaguar was  flying in the air as the flames of fire roared in the air!!

     Things had happened so fast that I wasn't even sure if I was alive. My body had been lifted feet off the ground and thrown in the air only to hit the concrete ground , knocking me unconscious!!!

"She's stable,  check her vitals!!"

I awoke to the blurred vision of doctors conversing around me with the sound of a machine beeping.

       It took at least five minutes before I was able to clearly see my surroundings!

"Ma'am are you aware of where you are?" The Caucasian physician asked.

" why the hell am I here!!?" I asked trying to sit up but the excruciating pain covered my body.

  My head was killing me but I could feel the head wrap around it.

"Ma'am you've suffered a concussion and a few bruises, it's a miracle that you made it out of the incident alive!"

     And instantly my memory rushed back of what had happened!! The jaguar we had driven had exploded the moment I pulled the door and  the impact of the explosion nearly killed me.

"Where are my friends!!?" I exclaimed  trying to look around the room with out irritating my injuries.

"You're referring to the two men you came in with, one is in surgery while the other is in the i.c.u...... you shouldn't worry yourself your health is the most important there's two detectives out front to talk to you about what happened, you are aware that; that was a bomb explosion you were involved in?

       And at that very moment my heart began to race! Trying to figure out what the fuck had happened and piece things together!!

   But my most important concern was of Jef and dean I didn't know who was in worse condition!!

     I needed Claudia now!!!!
