Forty two: claudia Too good to be true

Being back in L.a had a different feel this time around! Even though our war with the Warriors was ongoing it was on pause for the moment!

I had just purchased a new mansion for the black mafia to call home and business was still doing good!

But for the first time in forever I began to re plan my wedding which was set to happen very soon while things were smooth sailing!

Santino and the guys were doing some new recruiting for the black mafia so we would be prepared for anything!

This was our first dinner together since surprising kloe for her birthday with a new Benz and chromed diamond gun!

I stood at the head of the table in a blouse that finally revealed my stomach!

For a long while I was covering it with sweats and coats but now was the time to announce the wonderful news I had received weeks ago at my doctors appointment!

All eyes were on me as I entered the room standing at the head of the table.

"As you all can see for a long while I was unable to reveal my greatest gift from god! But I am here now to relay the news to you as family that we can add plus one to the mafia since i am carrying a healthy baby boy!!!"

I was trying to withdraw back my tears as I said it and the room filled with congrats and claps! But the biggest surprise was santino swooping me off of my feet and kissing me!

I couldn't believe I had hidden this for so long, Santino was ecstatic!!! The entire meal he was stuck by me infatuated with my belly.

I could honestly say this was the first time In a very long time that I had been genuinely happy!

             Mid way threw dinner the bell rung.

"I got it." Santino said tucking his new gun into his wasteband and heading for it.

         After a moment I decided to go check to see who it could be since we didn't have business in house and no one else knew where we were located.

    Without tipping off the others I headed for the door of our marvelous mansion, where in the ball room was detective Kim talking to Santino.

"What can we help her with now?" I asked sarcastically drawing Both their attention to me.

"Good day to you also ms.emberlin .. I'm  just here doing a follow up hoping to get some cooperation with you all on your daughter case.... But seems like time doesn't change." Said detective Kim in a sarcastic manner.

"Well aren't you just the brightest little star, we've told you before we don't have any connections or leads, so why don't you stop trying to force us to do your job!"

Santino chuckled at my feistiness placing his hands on my shoulders massaging them.

    Detective Kim looked at me with a dumbfounded expression of irritation before she said her last words.....

"Well congrats on the baby...." She uttered before glimpsing around.

"Oh and another thing you should probably know we'll be surveilling this place in case you guys decide you wanna have another on going war out here, it's the communities policy! So I'll be seeing you around." Said detective Kim in a solemn tone as she walked backwards to the door with a grin.

The minute it shut I looked over to Santino uttering.

"We're gonna have to kill that bitch." In a firm tone.

  The last thing I needed was the cops prying in our backyard! For starters I needed to get a few sergeants on my payroll.

      I walked to the nearest window glimpsing out the Louis bouton curtains to see detective Kim starting back down the path to her car while she was on the phone.

"Somethings definitely gotta be done with her.... But as of right now .... We're going to celebrate new beginnings!"  Santino agreed.

        We had a new plug in Atlanta that would have business booming! So I chose none other than Kloe, Jef, and dean to make this transaction. 

    It was only in due time before we took over the east coast with Miami and Cuba!

      The black mafia was back in motion! Stronger than ever!
