I'm gonna change Aug's dialogue a bit. I feel like I'm over doing it. Lol.

Let's read.

August Alsina

Avery and and her brotha stayed up talkin' all night. Watchin them talk made me miss my brotha even mo'.

He was tha only person I could really talk to. He taught me tha game. He taught me 'bout life. He told me that in N'walins, most niggas don't live to see 24..

"Alright. Time for your visitor to say his goodbyes." Nurse Evelyn came in and told Avery.

Ha brotha stood up and hugged her.

"I'll see you later, sis." He gave her a kiss on tha foe'head and his numba.

"Bye." She smiled to him as he walked out tha do'.

She looked at me.

"August. I have a brother." She smiled at me.

I did too..

I was in the car with August, on the way to his house. I was more than excited because I was tired of being in that hospital with the ugly mint green colors. But they did take care of me and I appreciate them for that. We'd been is this car for three hours, I started to think we were leaving the country.

"Are you kidnapping me?"

He laughed.

"Nahh, but like you used to, I live far out." He said.

"Why ya live so far?" I asked mocking him when he asked me that question the first time he came to Brice's house.

"Wit tha bidness I was into, don't nobody need to know where I lay my head." He told me. I nodded my head understandingly, already having an idea of what he was talking about.

Finally, we were here.

His house was beautiful.

Biggest one I've ever seen in person.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you get such a big house for just you?" I asked curiously.

"I wasn't thinkin' 'bout just me when I got it. I was thinkin' 'bout my nieces, who I'm sure I would wanna spend tha night sometime, especially cause they like swimmin'. Famm comin over someday. One day, have a' family of my own."

I watched him while he spoke, looking at the house. He has dreams.

He has hope.

It's not just a house to him.

He unlocked the door and let me walk in first. Everything was mostly black, but it was elegant.

"Lemme show ya to ya room."

Still admiring his home, I followed behind him.

"You decorated yourself?" I asked him.

"Somewat. I'on like bright colors, so maw suggested tha black. As far as everythang bein' whea it is, she told me whea ta put it."

He said.

"Here's ya room." I walked into a beautiful room. Probably one of the only rooms with a little color. Black & maroon.

"It's beautiful." I said as I walked into the tidy bathroom.

"Glad ya like it." He said and turned to leave.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think he didn't want me here.

I walked after him. "August."
