A Little Place Of Heaven

I know of this place where the sun shines brighter

The sky is a shade of blue that matches your eyes

and when I'm lying in the soft grass with your arms around me

I can see the clouds turn into creatures of fantasy and rhyme

Here I can be the girl that dances in the early morning mist

Who can wander barefoot in the river with no fear

This place is where I go when I close my eyes at night when sleep calls me forth

In my dreams nothing can hurt me or cause my tears to fall

Here you are with a smile that tells me everything I would ever need to know

As I move in your soft and safe embrace

I can tell you the truth that I long to fit in and be the same as everyone else

I want to find my place in this world and not be seen as the outsider

In my dreams as the tears try to fall I feel your lips against my cheek

I hear your words of love in my ear

In this sweet heaven I can be in as I slumber I have found my place.

Somehow with you I have found my peace

I have found where I want to be...

If there is a God I need my eternal sleep with you

Hold me now as the sun fills the sky and the breeze is warm against my skin

Let this piece of paradise be our haven....

For here in my dreams and as you slumber by my side...

Nothing harms us nothing comes between the beating of two hearts.
