Chapter 8: on the road again!

Authors note: hello again readers! thank you for giving my story a chance and i hope you are enjoying it! sorry for the delay i am having some bad weather over here which is messing with the internet. so just bear with me here! i am so happy to see that people are actually reading this! if you have any questions about the story feel free to ask them in the comments! alright i know i know shut up and write the dang story! alright bye!

Mabel's POV

Robbie and i both woke up early the next morning. "Morning Robbie!" i said smiling at him. "Morning Mabs." he smiled back at me. "i was thinking that we go for a walk today." i said getting out of the bed. "sounds like fun Mabs." Robbie said also getting out of the bed.

i went into the bathroom and began to fix my hair ( imagine a birds nest) i saw that there were bunches and bunches of brushes, combs, hair products, soaps and you name it! dang the Gnomes really like me. i saw a pair of jeans and a new sweater on the counter also. it had kittens on it so of course i put it on! i fixed my hair, put on the jeans and sweater, and left the bathroom.

"ready?" i asked him. "yeah lets go." he said grabbing my hand. we left the cottage and began to walk through the forest but not going too far. we sat on the edge of a hill and looked at the sky, it still had mixed colors of pinks, orange, yellow, and blue, it was so pretty it took my breath away. "hey Mabs being that we are alone could you sing for me now?" Robbie asked looking hopefully at me.

i sighed "Okay but please don't make fun of me if it sounds like a dying wale.."i said Robbie chuckled "i wouldn't dream of it Mabs" and i began to try and think of a song. i finally picked one its called breaking your own heart by Kelly Clarkson (note readers: don't read too much into this i just think its a great song has nothing to do with their relationship!) as i began to sing i could see Robbie's smile widen.

 "Mabs.. that was amazing!" Robbie said beginning to clap. we both got up after a while and headed back to the Gnome village, as we got closer we could hear voices "i know they are around here somewhere i can smell the humans.... ugh i smell Gnomes.." we both looked at each other and ran back to the Gnome village another way.

"Guys! they found us!" we both started yelling to the others. we all quickly started packing some stuff the Gnomes gave us like food, clothing and stuff like lotion and soap and stuff. we thanked the Gnomes for letting us stay there and left quickly. we got out just in time before they got there.
