Chapter 15: Together again

Authors note: hey!!!! how has everyone been? anything interesting happen? sorry I've been gone so long, I've had a lot of things going on in my school life plus i was having repetitive anxiety attacks and had to handle them alone but its okay, I'm used to it but again I'm sorry i was gone for so long!

Robbie's POV

Mabel passed out on my lap while we were looking for a hospital or something, anything. "Mabs! don't go to sleep!" i said shaking her gently. she wouldn't wake up so i began to freak out "Mabs! please Mabs wake up!" i said, big hot tears welling up in my eyes.

we found a town of some sort but they didn't have a hospital so we were about to drive by when Ford yells "wait they have a vet!" so we pulled over there and i carried her in there quickly behind the two others who ran ahead to make sure it was safe. i placed her down on the metal bed thing. Ford began to take off her jacket and sweater. i blushed and looked away.

"Robbie i need your help fixing these stitches." Ford said as he began to remove the ripped ones and clean up the blood. i nodded and began to bring the supplies and hand him anything he needed. after we were done i cleaned up myself, and Mabel. Ford washed his hands and left to go take a nap. i took off my jacket and put it under Mabel's head so it wouldn't be on the hard metal table. I sat in a plastic chair in the room where she was and fell asleep.

Mabel's POV

i woke  up with no shirt or jacket on, just my bra and my stitches were fixed. i was relieved about the stitches but looked over to see Robbie asleep in the room in a plastic chair, he had put his jacket under my head for a pillow. i blushed realizing Robbie saw me without a shirt on.

i tried to get down and put my shirt on but i was in too much pain to move. i hissed in pain when i tried to sit up, i ended up waking up Robbie in the process. "morning Mabs." he groaned, getting up to stretch. "m-morning Robbie!" i stuttered, blushing. i tried to move my arms over my chest but it hurt too much.

"don't worry Mabs i got you." he said smiling and walking over to me. he helped me sit up so it wasn't painful and slowly helped me put my sweater back on. "thanks Robbie!" i smiled, still blushing. "no problem Mabs." he smiled, kissing my forehead.

he leaned his forehead against mine and i closed my eyes. "i love you Mabs.." he whispered. "I'm surprised you haven't left me yet for all the trouble i cause you..."i whispered, mostly to myself but he heard. he grabbed my face gently in his hands and made me look into his eyes.

"never, in a million years, would i leave you unless you wanted me too.." and he kissed me slowly. i kissed back slowly as well, savoring the feeling and emotions it brought with it. "are you hungry Mabs?" he asked quietly, breaking the kiss. i nodded and smiled shyly at him.

he smiled at me "okay, I'll be right back." he said and walked out of the room. i waited for a few minutes and he came back with a bowl of mixed fruit, some apple juice, and a piece of toast. "sorry its not much Mabs, we are low on rations." he said looking at it disappointed. "its fine!" i said smiling at him, and we proceeded to eat our breakfast.

Dipper's POV

Pacifica, Grunkle Stan, and i have all been worried sick about Ford, Robbie, and Mabel. we don't know where they are, if they are okay, if they are in trouble, or what! i was pacing back and forth, looking at the floor of an old abandoned house we found, worrying about Mabel and the others when i felt a gentle hand grab mine and pull me into a hug.

"its okay Dipper...we are all worried too.." Pacifica said quietly in my ear. i broke down and began to sob into her shoulder as she held me. she ran her fingers through my hair gently, calming me down slowly. when i stopped crying she looked into my eyes and smiled "you okay now?" i looked at her and nodded "b-but...could you just hold me please? i feel better when I'm in your arms.." i said quietly. she smiled and pulled me into a tight hug and rubbed my back gently.

Ford's POV

as soon as Robbie told me Mabel was awake we started preparing to leave. we loaded up the truck with supplies we found and started the engine. Robbie came outside, Carrying Mabel and placed her gently down in the seat. "can i sit on your lap Robbie?" she asked sleepily. he smiled "of course you can Mabs." and gently put her on his lap. its sweet seeing them have so much love for each other, even when the world is falling apart around them.

Robbie's POV

as we were driving on the road,Mabel and i both fell asleep. we both woke up when we felt someone shaking us gently. it was dipper. "DIPPER!" Mabel shouted and hugged him tightly but hissing in pain from her stitches. "oh my gosh! Mabel are you okay????" he asked.

i told him about everything that happened since he didn't even hear about what happened with Wendy. we got out of the car to find ourselves in a big camp that the other groups (not ours) had made "whoa.." Mabel and i both said at the same time.
