A benefit of being on the varsity hockey team from such a young age is that you become friends with the older players which in turn benefits around the school. They let you know which teacher you can slack off in and which ones you can't even blink at without missing something. They send you past notes, saved quizzes, and even the occasional essay. So to say Zayn was happy having his elder friends would be an understatement.

However, not everyone always finds these situations that pleasing...especially when you have an older cousin who is best friends with these elder team players. So whereas Zayn loves having older friends, Louis isn't always too keen on coming home only to find his best friend Ashton just hanging out with his little cousin.

"I didn't know you were stopping by Ash," Louis says as he walks into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. "I would have waited to see if you wanted to go workout together."

"I wasn't really planning on it, but Zayn texted me saying he was bored so I decided to just swing by. "We were thinking of going to see a movie or some'in, care to join?"

"Yea-"

"Louis William, you will not be going anywhere. Have you seen your progress report? That C- in physics is unacceptable. I already talked to your teacher and she said you have a test on Monday and it can really help raise your grade, so you will be studying the remainder of the weekend," Harry says with a raised brow as he walks down the stairs.

"Oh come on, Dad. I just got ungrounded, please let me go out for a bit?" Louis pleads but Harry just shakes his head.

"If you want to stay ungrounded you better pass that test on Monday, you can go out next weekend," Harry says firmly before walking over to Zayn. "You're gonna go with Ashton, baby?"

"Yeah, we wanted to go watch a film," Zayn says to his uncle as he slightly leans into his side.

"Alright here's some money for your ticket and snack. Ashton, have him back by 7:30 please? We have a family thing early tomorrow and I need his help in the kitchen," Harry says as he turns to Ashton who simply nods in turn.

"Will do, sir. Bye, Lou! We'll pick you up something on our back," Ashton says as he and Zayn run out the door.

Once they were gone Louis huffs in annoyance as he flops onto the couch, glaring at his father who was standing at the kitchen counter reading over their mail. Eventually Harry feels the glares being thrown at him and turns around to stare right back at Louis with a raised brow.

"Glare all you want, but if I don't see at least a B on that test come Monday then you better get used to the walls of this house cause you won't be leaving it for quite some time," Harry says.

And Louis knew if he retaliated it would just lead to more trouble, so instead the boy marched up the stairs and went straight to his room where he begrudgingly began to study.

Stupid physics.

Louis recalls Zayn and Ashton coming back that evening, and though he was mad that he couldn't go out he did crack a smile when the two presented him with a full meal from his favorite sushi place. Zayn ended up spending the rest of that night in Louis' room, cuddling a bit with his older cousin, Niall joining at one point of the night to which then caused Liam and Harry to take a picture of the cute scene.

As the weekend comes to a close Louis finds himself taking the physics test he studied all weekend for, and much to his luck he managed to get a B+ on it. When Harry received news of the boy's results he hugged his eldest and promised if he kept his good behavior up then he'd be allowed to go anywhere he wanted this weekend, and luckily this weekend seemed to have the most happening.
