Rake: So you say it was maximus who sent you here.

Zepp: Yes! Now get off me! You can't be human!

Rake: Nice guess.

Rake summoned 16 swords imbued with the holy element

Rake: Run. You'll make nice target practice on your 2nd form.

Zepp: CHROME SPRINT!!!

Zepp dashed away from rake, but only found himself pinned down to the floor by 16 blades.

Rake: So much for that... Well then! To the obelisk it is!

Rake went from island to island, until he found a small pillar with a riddle written on it. The pillar read:

My thunder comes before my lightning.
My lightning comes before my rain.
My rain dries up all the land it touches.
What am I?

Rake: This... Doesn't make sense.

Amadeus: The riddle... It changed.

Rake: What?

Amethyst: It wasn't supposed to be this one.

Imperos: This is strange... It looks like a combination of riddles... From the fire and thunder obelisks...

Azura: Then the answer would be... A volcano?

Rake: The answer is A volcano!

Mordekaiser: Good job Azura.

Imperos: So that is how he guessed mine!

Azura: Sorry...

???: Treasure hunter Rake! We know that you have our friends. And we are ready to join your ranks.

Rake: Well, thanks!

???: However, we will only join you if you give us a good reason to do so. Now, I am Magnos. The thunder obelisk.

???: And I am Parthenos. The fire obelisk. Now tell us, for what do you seek our power?

Rake: There has been a monster invasion on NLO. At first, we wanted to help with the first boss. But then, a boss came to attack only us instead. It made the city my friends and I built go down. And I wont let it happen again.

Magnos: Still, you don't have the right to gain our power.

Rake looked up at the two golems and answered...

Rake: No. I have the only right.

After having said that, Rake began to glow.

???: Yes. You have the only right. I, give you my power. Now rise! Obelisk king!

As rake stood up from the ground, he saw his stats had skyrocketed. Even though he was not on any monster wrath, his armor and appearance had changed. His armor was now golden, and his hair became so too. His eyes turned into a fine shade of crimson red, and a cape of that same color appeared in his back.

???: Now this will be your default appearance. May this help you on your journey.

Rake: Thank you.

Meanwhile...

Berserk: The time for death is coming! I can't wait!

Blank: Be patient berserk. Now, how about you pay them a visit?

Berserk: My pleasure!

Guys! Sorry for making this chapter short, but I am afraid to tell you that this arc is coming to an end. Was is supposed to be longer? Yes. But then I realized that I have too much ideas for just one arc. And so, I decided on creating another. Happy reading!
