Kaiser's POV:

Damn, this is gonna be good. I can't see how they'll escape from this one. Vath must be REALLY mad. Well, I guess I can only sit and watch. For now.

Vath's POV:

I was surrounded in darkness. The floor was blood red, and it felt as if there was no air.

???: Vath, tell me. Why have you fallen?

Vath: Fallen from where?

???: Battle of course. You just were defeated.

Vath: Defeated?!? No!

???: Yes indeed. You are currently frozen. And your minions are receiving a beating.

Vath: Minions? No, they're my comrades.

???: Oh really? Then why don't you treat them like so?

Vath: I... I don't know. Ever since I got that sword...

???: Do you mean... this sword?

*POOF*

Nightmare appeared from thin air.

Vath: Yes. That one.

???: But it gave you power. Enough power to defeat Big Boss.

Vath: But it has corrupted me in the process.

???: Corrupted you? No. It has only made you stronger.

Vath: Then why was I unable to defeat the kings?

???: Because you have not given the blade your full power. You must focus on your anger, and there will be nothing that can stand in our way.

As Vath grabbed Nightmare, darkness began to envelop his arm.

Vath: rage....Rage!! RAGE!!!

Meanwhile...

Kuro: Ack! So strong!!

Midas: Hell kid, I'm just getting started!

*Crack*

Hayle: What?!?

Balboa: Impossible!!!

*BOOOOOM*

The Ice shattered, as a newly armored Vath emerged.

Vath: I'M BACK!

Midas: Oh really?

*Fwoosh*

Vath: Yes, really.

*Slash*!!!

Midas: ACK!!!

Vath: I've slept long enough. Now, I take my revenge!

Kaiser: Guys... That's not Vath.

Balboa: I feel it too... there is too much dark energy.

Hayle: Do you mean... he's being consumed by nightmare?

Kaiser: I don't know... however, he is becoming stronger with every passing second.

Midas: Guys... I don't wanna spoil the party... but I'm kinda bleeding to death.

Kuro's smile was split into two, as Nightmare swiftly passed through his skin.

Red particles went into nightmare, and into Vath.

The sentinels which had run to him now tried to escape. However, their efforts were futile. Vath had slashed through all of them, and absorbed their power.

Kaiser: Shit.
