Better Days

**JAVION P.O.V**

I've been having an off day. I feel like I've messed up more than she did. I mean yeah she went with my brother and stuff and didn't tell me until now, but I feel bad for acting this way. It's not even because of her it's mainly because of my dumb ass brother. He always try to one up me in shit and this was just one of those things to push me to my breaking point. I don't want to go back to the apartment because he might be there and I don't want to be in the same room as him, and Trinity might hate my ass. I just can't deal.

"Aye bruh. What's got you looking off into space?" Raymond said. 

"Nothing man, you came here for some shoes?" 

"Nigga you know I don't buy shoes out of Shoe Carnival. I came to see what's up with you. You been acting weird lately. Like you not here on earth or some shit." 

"I'm good bruh." 

"Nigga don't lie. It's about Trinity huh?" I looked at him and he looked at me. I looked off because it was but I wasn't going to say it. "It is, you need to go back to the apartment and talk to her bruh."

"She's not gonna talk to me. I know it for a fact." 

"You can try bruh."

"I can, but I just don't wanna make her mad or end up going off or risk seeing my brother and killing his ass." I sighed. "I don't know what to do man."

"Man, you just need to relax. Ease your mind your brother leaving tomorrow morning anyway so you can do it then."

" I guess."

"What you doing tonight bruh?" 

"Nothing."

"Come through. Keri got to work late and I got some weed and 2k."

"I'll swing through."

"Cool, keep your head up man." He said as he left the store. I went on about my day still going off into space thinking about Trinity. Damn I never thought about her this much before.

**TRINITY P.O.V**

I was low key enjoying my day off. Javion didn't appear and Nathan  said he was leaving this morning so I grabbed all his shit and put it outside, wasn't gonna see that no good nigga anymore. I called Vonte and he cheered me up a little bit, I don't like him for real but he is a chill person. In the middle of my Netflix and Chill moment I received a call from Keri.

"Hey."

"Hey girly." She said. "What you up to?" 

"Netflix and chill."

"By yourself?" 

"Uhh yeah." 

"Is that all you've done today?"

"Yep." 

"Well what you doing tonight?"

"Chilling with Netflix." I joked.

"Funny, you wanna come over tonight Raymond working late tonight and I miss my girl." 

"What makes you think I want to come over there?"

"I'm making pork chops." 

"What time should I be there?"

"Knew that would catch your attention. How does seven sound?"

"Alright, gives me a couple of hours to shower and shit."

"You haven't showered yet? Girl it's five o'clock...you nasty." She said mimicking Raven's voice from That's So Raven. 

"Girl bye." I said I hung up the phone. I paused my movie and grabbed some clothes and took me a long shower. While I was in the shower I noticed I haven't eaten anything all day. I matter as well eat a little snack, or more like a dozen doughnuts. I got out the shower put on my tank top and a PINK jacket with matching sweatpants. I have a sudden obsession with Victoria's Secret and their PINK collection. I grabbed my keys, ran down the stairs and jumped in my car. I had two hours to spare so I matter as well go to Krispy Kreme. 

I got there and noticed the drive-thru line was long as hell. I went inside and their wasn't a soul in there. 

"Hey, how may I help you." The girl said.

"Hey, can I get a dozen glazed donuts." 

"Alright, would you like a cup of doughnut holes for 50 cents?" What the hell, it's a cheat day.

"Sure." I pulled out my card as she handed me my doughnut holes.

"We have a fresh batch coming up soon." She said. I nodded as I threw a doughnut in my mouth. I was the only one in there so  I just stood there watching the donuts move on the conveyor belt as I ate my doughnut holes. 

"Are they good?" A deep voice said from behind me. I turned around with a mouth full of doughnuts. Oh my God it's S'ven. "I take that as a yes." He laughed. I chewed the remaining doughnut in my mouth and whipped my mouth.

"That's embarrassing."

"It's perfectly fine...just like you." He said looking me up and down.

"Find it nice that you still wanna flirt with me after you just seen me with a mouth full of doughnuts."

"Why wouldn't I? Anyway I didn't see you on Saturday."

"Well I left a little early. I was dealing with some personal shit."

"Oh, boyfriend problems?" I laughed a little at his slick question. 

"Tuh, no. I don't have a boyfriend." He started to smile.

"Oh." 

"Here you go ma'am." The girl came out handing me my doughnuts.

"Thank you." I said as I opened the box and inspected all of them. Apparently the look on my face was amusing to S'ven. "What?"

"You look like you about to attack them." 

"I tend to have that look for a lot of things." He raised his eyebrows and looked me dead in my eyes. I love his eyes! 

"Don't look at me like that or these doughnuts won't be the only thing I'll attack." Okay I was flirting a little bit, but he was asking for it.  He started to smile and I closed the box. "I gotta go."

"So soon?" 

"Yes boy, so soon. I only came here for something sweet." 

"I did too."

"So are you gonna get it or stare at me with your sexy ass eyes?" 

"Why you think I'm staring at you?" 

"Boy stop."

"Okay okay, you do look good though."

"You do too." I said getting up. I know my ass was very visible in the these sweatpants so I strutted to the door. "Call me later." I said before I left the store. I caught him looking me up and down again and started laughing. That's how you reel them in girl. Betta work!
