"Are you absolutely, positively, at least 5000% sure you are ready for this? We can wait if you want..."

"I told you before Gil, I can handle it."

"Okay, but are you sure? It could hurt... like, alot."

"I think I can handle the pain Gilbert. I've been through a lot worse."

"You probably have, but I don't want this to hurt. I mean, are you completely ready emotionally?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm ready emotionally."

"You won't cry, will you?"

"Um, I don't think so..."

"Okay.... okay. Hold my hand. Take a deep breath."

"This is a little bit unnecessary..."

"You've never done this before! You don't know the pain!"

"Are you saying you have done this before?"

"Oh my god Matthew! Just do what I say man!"

"Okay... I love you.."

"I love you too..."

Taking a deep breath and giving Gilbert's hand a gentle sqeeze, he presses a gentle kiss on my lips. Squeezing my eyes shut and preparing, he laughs softly beside me and whispers "Open your eyes shortie."

"Okay."

With great hesitation I open my eyes, gazing into his soft crimson gaze before nodding.

"You're sure?"

I can't help but smile and shove him lightly.

"God dammit Gilbert, start the video game already."

Turning to face the computer screen, he huffs, and murmurs "I dont think you're ready to fully appreciate Undertale."

"Can you please just play the game Gilbert. I at least want to get past the tutorial before Feli comes over."

"Lame. Fine. I'll start it. What should we name our little person?"

"Felix?"

"Matthew Williams, you could choose any name, and..... you choose Felix?"

"Yeah, I like the name."

He squeezes me, making my heart warm at the simple notion.
"If you don't like Felix, what would you name it?"

"I dunno, something cool. Like..... Günter! Or.... Malta! Maybe Sören! Gert. Possibly Marissa."

"Gil... half of those names I can't pronounce correctly."

"Fine, what about a mix of our names? Mil? Gat? Giltthew? Matbert?"

I recoiled slightly at the horrible sounding names, shaking my head. "Dear God no, we are not trying to scar the child."

"Okay, okay..... Edgar Allen Poe?"

I couldn't help but smile, shaking my head. "Too long. Though I do love Edgar Allen Poe..."

All of a sudden his face became one of total concentration. I raised an eyebrow, surprised and flattered at how hard he was trying to come up with the perfect name. It was quite a view as he eyes worked their way around the room for a clue, silver eyebrows furrowed together.

"Juliet?"

Blinking, I looked at him for a long moment. He caught my gaze and gave an awkward smile.

"I saw Romeo and Juliet on your shelf, and I couldn't help but notice you have the lyrics to Check Yes Juliet written in that journal on the desk."
