"Come on!" I shouted as the clouds began to let loose.
I could feel her resistance as I grabbed her hand but I couldn't just let her here on the beach. Not with that storm about to hit. It looked like it was gonna be real bad too and lightening can be dangerous. Especially if she's standing on this flat, wide open beach with no shelter. I didn't see any other vehicles in the vicinity when I parked either, which means she probably walked here. Which also means she'd have to walk home in this. Not happening! I know from experience when you live in an area like this it's best not to mess around. These storms can get ugly real quick.
The rain began to dump and it pelted our skin with alarming force. I could hear her gasp now and then and I knew she hadn't yet experienced a storm like this. Which is to be expected she's only been here a couple weeks. I quickened our pace as the rain began to fall harder. Pausing, I grabbed her bag from under the pier before taking off again.
"This way!" I yelled to her, heading towards my truck. I felt the sand turn to stone under my boots but didn't think much of it. That was, until I heard her gasp loudly. Stoping, I turned around to see what dare cause her pain and as I scanned her small, drenched form I realized that she was first of all still in that hot little bikini and second she was barefoot. Ugh! Way to go stupid! You are all but dragging her and across STONES no less! What's wrong with you!? She's not wearing boots, moron, she was at the beach. BAREFOOT! Quickly, I dropped her hand. Stepping towards her, I saw a weary look come across her face, but it was quickly replaced by shock as I scooped her up bridal style. Continuing to run to my truck.
Upon arriving at my truck, I ripped the door open, threw her bag on to the floor, and laid her on to the seat. She laid there gazing at me with huge eyes, still obviously in shock that I carried her. Despite the situation I chuckled. Her eyes were huge! She looked adorable. Whoa where did that come from? Get a grip, man! Shaking my head I stepped up into the truck, however the rain had other ideas. As I stepped on to the runningboard my boots lost their grip and I fell. Forward. Right on top of her. I was just able to catch myself. Slightly. At the last moment, my hands smacked against the seat on both sides of her head as I attempted to catch myself.
Laying on the seat of my truck, my shoulders were slightly raised above her tiny frame and my lower body . . . well it was not off her at all. In fact, I don't believe you could have put a piece of paper between us. I could see her internal battle written all over her face. She was obviously trying to decide if she should tell me to move or not, but the fact that there was any hesitation had me smirking. I could see that she was still trying to recover from shock and I was finding this hole situation very amusing.
"We really have to stop doing this." She said, almost reluctantly.
"Nahh, I rather enjoy this." I replied with a huge smirk. "Although I do prefer being on top, opposed to last time." I watched as a scowl formed on her face. She was no doubt remembering when we met on the roof. Good times. My smirk fell as I remembered how I had saved her, thank God, I never would've been able to live with myself if she'd have been hurt. But my smirk returned even bigger then before as I remembered how she had fell on top of me that time. I watched as an adorable blush tainted her cheeks at the thought of how we laid there together and the fact that really neither of us were to eager to get up.
Suddenly remembering I'd let the door open this entire time, I pushed myself up onto my knees and slammed the door. Turning to face her again my smirk returned as I took in her appearance. She almost looked . . . disappointed? Hmm interesting. She seemed to suddenly became aware that she was still wearing that tiny, soaking wet bikini and all that skin was showing. Wow she looked good. Like really good. Like I would love to just slide over there and jus- Wow, I'm staring. Gosh, this had to stop! I watched as her cheeks turned scarlet and she slowly sat up and grabbed a towel from her bag. She moved as if I was going to pounce on her if she moved to fast. Mmm, might not be a bad idea. I grinned. After wrapping herself in a towel she handed me one as well. I began to dry myself too, the smirk finally fading from my lips as I attempted to focus on drying, and not that gorgeous, near naked, girl beside me.
