My first day with him hasn't been too bad, despite him complaining that I'm too shy to do any couple things like hold hands. Out of the 283782 times he asked me to hold my hand in a span of 3 hours, I rejected all of the times with a little tease by nudging him aside.
"You're quite talkative when you're out in public." My mouth just spits what's on my mind without hesitation. If it weren't for my patience I have today, I would've slapped this child so many times already. Oh, I didn't mean to call him child. I mean Kai.
"Hey," he now just swings his arm over my shoulders without asking, "do you think I want to see my girl walking around in such a short skirt that the other guys could be looking at your legs? Do you know that I'm trying my hardest not to look myself because I don't want a shy girl like you to think I'm perverted."
Sighing, I lead him over to the side of the road and turn away from him. The skirt doesn't even want to come down anymore; I am pulling on it barely down to mid thigh when I can feel the rim of it by my butt crack.
"Krystal, dear, I would rather have you do it behind my back then to have to do it right in front of me."
My heels roll around so smooth that it could look like what one of those cocky girls do when they're about to rant or be a total b*tch in any sort of movie.
"Kai, I would've already loved you if it weren't for—"
His face out of a sudden changes to a totally different mood; just a few seconds ago, I saw him in his complaining mode and trying not to burst out laughing, but now he has a pained expression washing his face over.
He grabs his head and closes his eyes, concentrating on what I believe is his breathing.
"This is a joke, right?"
Very slowly but clear, he shakes his head and then let's out a huge blob of hair as if he was holding his breath underwater for a long time and needs a new breath of air.
"My head... started..." he kind of just waves his hand over the side part of his brain but says no more.
"Do you need to go to doctor?"
He painfully smiles and shakes his head. I've never encountered such a thing where someone has a sudden migraine that has them stop breathing. What I just saw was... freaky.
"Let's go..." I let him hold my hand for the first time today. The people around us don't even notice that Kai has turned pale. And I mean pale.
"Look at me." I whisper and turn him around with my hand on his face. "You're not okay, right? Do you need me to go back to the hotel with you?"
This is my earnest heart, guys. That's who I am; someone who's always worried about everything.
"Let's just go do some for browsing at expensive things, eh?" He softly chuckles even though I can tell he's still in pain. Why am I feeling so much pity for someone who's just computer made?
"Kai, let's go back to the hotel. You need to rest." I yank him in the direction that leads to the hotel but he resists.
"I am okay, I promise."
