"Kai, what's going on?" I ask, feeling worried for him but also for my own good. The glitch; is the game not working properly? Am I going to wake up alive and alright? It's like a team of hackers is hacking the game.

With the rain beating on us, I hoist him up onto his feet. He's still crying, still not able to tell me the reason to why he is. This feels like I'm trying to calm a crying kindergartener but it's pretty much no use.

"Come to your senses, Kai!" I slap him across the face with frustration in my voice. It probably didn't hurt too bad, but I hit him hard enough to make him realize what he's doing.

His face scrunches up as he looks into my eyes.

"I can't love you anymore. You cannot love me anymore, Soojung." He croaks, again using my real name. I'm still trying to figure out how and when he found this information out.  "Please trust me, Soo— Krystal."

Biting my lip to stop myself from crying with him for no obvious reason, I pull him into my arms. I don't know if my shoulder is getting even more wet because of his tears or the rain that's falling from the sky; maybe it's just both.

"Don't say such things, Kai. I'm right here for you, always. Just tell me what's wrong so I ca—"

"I don't want you to be heartbroken!" He yells and swings me onto the ground. I whimper out of shock and look up at him with the water hitting my eyes.

"Kai..."

He turns around and begins sprinting towards some direction away from the hotel. Why is he doing this; saying such unbelievable things?

I run after him with all of my strength, all of the muscles that I barely have are working over its' max to catch up to him.

Kai, undeniably, has too fast of a running pace.
