[Narrator's POV]

It's been two months since anyone in the game has woken up, and Soojung's family has gone extremely worried that she won't ever wake up. Just a month after she joined the game, she had to have a surgery on her belly button so she could be fed and given water because she wasn't in taking anything.

The world has been at rage with gaming company KLMW for allowing such a thing to happen to the victims. Even with the company paying the victims' families for their fault in causing a disaster, their chief engineer Dianne Meyer is about to get fired because she cannot fix or figure out what exactly happened.

"Because women are dumber than men, obviously." Most of the citizens criticize.

The Koreans have another thing to worry about; a company called SM that secretly kidnaps children and makes them these "NPCs". The company forced them to do it. Parents from all over South Korea have signed a petition for the government to start getting involved with the company or they'll start a revolt.

Sooyeon, who had witnessed all of this riot with her own eyes, begins to feel guilt looking at her younger sister's butterfly-like body; skinny and sensitive to touch.

"I couldn't..." Sooyeon touches her sister's hand. "...protect you."

Rain from the outside hits on the windowpane, making Sooyeon feel even worse than she already is. It doesn't help soothe her emotions even though it's a light rainfall.

The scent of the flowers sit in Soojung's room as if death is awaiting her. No one knows what is happening to all of the young adults and teens in the game, but everyone is worried about them. Will they just die and leave without telling the world about what had happened?

Sooyeon bites her lip and tucks her young sister under the covers, making sure the IV won't get tangled up with the blankets. She turns around to turn off the lamp when the headgear on Soojung's head starts to beep.

Spinning around, Sooyeon watches as the headgear starts to flash a red color rapidly. A crackling sound comes from it and Soojung's body starts to twitch and breathe fast.

All of a sudden, Soojung's eyes flutter wide open. Sooyeon, scared of what had just happened, screams for her parents. One of the victims of the tragedy, Jung Soojung, stares up at the dark ceiling without much emotion.

At the exact time, their parents are rushing up the stairs to check out what's wrong. The mom busts into the room first and cries to see her daughter in such a state.

Cocking her head to the side, Soojung looks at her family with confusion.

"Who are you all?" She whispers.
