Sorry about the gap in updates, had a wee case of writers block on the next chapter. Haha. Well, I think I shall dedicate to MaoriSmurf again, because she cracks me up sooo much. And has laughed with me about who Chase is now based on in our own lives :L love you dork (: xx
**Chase’s POV**
“Jake is here?” I felt Maggie suck in a deep breath beside me; I pulled her even closer.
“Maggie, it is going to be okay,” She put her hands around my waist, “I promise I won’t let anybody hurt you!”
“Chase, he is going to be so mad!” She began shaking.
“Dora, I promise nobody will hurt you. I won’t let him anywhere near you!” I held her quivering hand in mine as she stepped away, “I will go and help Harley get rid of him, stay here.”
“No Chase! You aren’t going anywhere near him, he will try and kill you!” She refused, trying to pull me back.
“I will be fine, Harley and the other boys will be here, and they’ll have my back.” I insisted.
“Boots, you aren’t going anywhere!” She latched herself onto me, wrapping her arms around my waist.
“Maggie, stop being silly!” Paige interrupted, “Chase and Harley are buff as! They will kick ass!”
“Listen to her,” I nodded to my extremely drunk sister, “Take her and put her in a hot shower, please?” I asked Maggie, tilting her head up so I could look into her blue eyes.
“Boots, I’m not letting go until you tell me you are going to be okay!” She growled.
“I will be fine Maggie!” I leant down quickly and kissed her bruised face, “Promise me you will stay somewhere he can’t find you!” I waited until she nodded then I leant down again. This time I pressed my lips to her own. She stiffened slightly in my grip, then relaxed more as I ran my tongue across her bottom lip. She snaked her hands around my neck and pulled me closer into her, she nibbled on my bottom lip causing me to moan quietly against her lips. I felt her smile against my lips before I pulled away.
“Pretty good for a first kiss huh?” She grinned at me.
“That was my promise I will stay safe!” I kissed her nose quickly, “Take Paige inside, I’ll be there soon!” I walked away grinning like the Cheshire cat.
**Maggie’s POV**
I watched Chase walk away grinning; I smiled too, tracing a finger over my lips.
“Ew! You kissed my brother!” Paige was turning in a circle, flapping her arms wildly making stupid faces.
“Oh be quiet Paige, I bet you were about to kiss my almost brother!” I grabbed her shoulders and made kissy noises.
“Was not, we just went swimming!” She said defensively.
“I can see that,” I pointed to her bikini, “Your lucky Harley hasn’t ripped that off you yet.”
“Would I care?” She asked, sounding bored, “No I wouldn’t!”
“Okay, okay,” I backed down, grabbing her hand, “Let’s get you in a shower!”
“A hot shower?” Paige grinned.
“Yes, a really ho…” I was interrupted midsentence by a loud yelling, “Fucking hell, c’mon Paige!” We ran hand in hand to the front of the house where a group of guys had collected, I climbed up onto the raised deck searching for Harley and Chase.
“There they are!” Paige pointed to a blonde haired guy, standing beside a black haired.
“Fuck, that’s Jacob,” I gestured to the guy standing just a couple of steps away from my boys, “Paige, they are fucking raging at each other.” I took in the scene in front of us; boys were yelling and swearing over the music. I briefly saw Paige jump down and talk to one of the boys, then the music turned down.
