"Zeke!" I yelled from the bathroom, "Get the phone Zeke!" I assumed he had answered it, because it had stopped ringing, so I continuted blow drying my hair.
"Hello? Hello? HELLO!" I could hear Zeke yelling over my hair dryer, I smiled into the mirror.
"Zeke, who is it?" I laughed at him as he stormed down the hall.
"Muuuuuuuuum!" He screamed, I pitied whoever was on the end of that line, "Mum, where are you!"
"I'm here baby!" I yelled back.
"Where is here, mum?" He said, in a slightly pissed off tone in his young voice.
"Well the hairdryer is going, so where do you think I am son?" I grinned, putting my head around the door.
"Oh hey mum!" He waved, "Stranger, I found mum. Do you still want to talk to her? Hello? Hello? Hello?"
"You have to give them an opportunity to answer, Z." I held my hand out for the phone, "Who is it?"
"I don't know mum, or else I would have told you, duh," He shook his black haired head, "Women!"
"You have been hanging out with Uncle Harley too much Zeke!" I sighed, lifting the phone to my ear.
"Look out mum, that man sounds reeeeeally silly!" He smiled a toothy smile, well... Not really, considering some teeth weren't there.
"Shh! Go and get Buckley and Buckshot, I will come out soon," I grinned as he took off down the hall, his small plaid shirt, blue faded jeans and small cowboy hat all matched exactly what Harley was wearing that day, he looked up to him so much. I looked down to the phone in my hand, "Fuck, sorry! Hello?"
"You haven't changed one bit," An American voice came through the phone, it clattered as it hit the floor, I dropped to my knees a few seconds later, "Mag? Mags, are you there?"
"Hey, um, hey." Was all I managed, for the first time in four years I heard the voice of my son's father, and the man who I fell in love with.
"You have a son?" He asked, completely shocked.
"No, Chase. We do. We have a son."
