Marauders Era Preference *Dating Another Marauder pt. 2*

Here it is! This is the heavily requested part 2 to my other Marauder's Preference, so I hope you all enjoy! P.S. Sirius' is my favorite, can you tell? :)

Remus Lupin:
"How could you do this to me?" "(Y/N)-" "-Don't touch me, Sirius!" You hissed as you smacked his hand away from you, shaking your head in disbelief. "I trusted you!" "Let me explain, (Y/N)!" You didn't want to hear his excuses. You turned and bolted down the corridor, navigating your way through the dark hallways through a lens of blurred tears. You ran until your lungs burned, wanting nothing more than to curl up in bed and wake up in the morning realizing this was nothing but a bad dream. The worst part was he never even attempted to go after you. He had let you run away heartbroken.

"R-Remus?" You sniffled as you leaned against the doorway, hugging yourself tightly as tears streamed down your face. The young man looked up from his potions book with a look of confusion that melted in to one of disbelief and upset when he noticed your tears, standing up from his small little four poster bed and taking a step towards you. "(Y/N)? What's wrong?" A small sob escaped your trembling lips as you ran towards him, wrapping your arms around his torso as tightly as you possibly could. "Sirius..." Your voice broke as you stifled your sobs as you pressed your face in to his chest, "Sirius cheated on me." Remus could feel himself begin to tremble with anger and resentment as soon as the words left your mouth, though he shouldn't be surprised. Although he knew that your relationship with Sirius wouldn't last, he had put his faith in Sirius that it would have lasted longer. Now he had left you heartbroken; Sirius had taken the light from your eyes and replaced it with tears. Remus wrapped his arms around you tightly, trying his best to comfort you as you sniffled in to his chest. You stayed like this until you were able to stop crying, all the while having Remus stroke your back comfortingly. "I saw them together," You sniffled, "The worst part was that he acted as if he didn't care." "I-I'm so sorry, (Y/N)." "I feel so stupid, Remus," You choked out, tangling your fingers in his now tear stained t-shirt, "I should have known better." He shook his head, sighing. "Sirius is an idiot, (Y/N)." In his opinion, those were some of the truest words to ever leave his mouth. Remus ran his fingers through your hair in an attempt to soothe you and he decided that if he didn't say something now, he never would. "(Y/N)," He cleared his throat, trying not to fumble over his words, "I can't help but feel as though you've been looking for affection in the wrong places." You pulled away from his chest, furrowing your eyebrows as you processed what he had just said; You could feel a flood of heat rush to your cheeks, not certain of what to expect from him next. Upon seeing your perplexed and rather embarrassed expression, the tips of Remus' ears began to turn a rather violent shade of pink as he tried to stammer out what he had been trying to confess. "I...uh...I feel as though you deserve someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated; That is, with open arms and pure unadulterated affection," He was evidently nervous as he began to pull at the sleeves of his sweater, "And...I-I believe I can be that person." You felt a blush cross your face, eyes wide as you tried to comprehend what he was suggesting. "What?" "I've had feelings for you for a while, (Y/N), and I feel as though I can make you happy. I certainly know that I would be the happiest person alive if you were mine," He said with a soft chuckle, cheeks flushing a violent shade of pink, "What do you say?" Your heart ached in your chest; No one had ever spoken to you the way that he had. Remus had just poured his heart out and you held the power to either delight or destroy him. "Remus...Sirius and I just broke up-" "-It's alright, (Y/N), I-I understand." He tried his hardest to hide the sadness in his voice, when you placed a hand on his shoulder. A small smile crossed your lips, a warmth spreading through your body. "But I would love to take you up on that offer."
