I sit in the coffee shop, my once dirty-blonde hair but now practically blonde covering my face like a curtain, my rosy-grey eyes glimmers as cute Uni boys grin at me as they exit the shop with their friends.

Even at 21, I'm still popular. I'm completing my Uni essay as I watch everyone enter and exit the shop. It is an instinct, to be aware of my surroundings because somethings never change.

After high school, me and my friends kind of drifted away besides Stacey, who always kept me update with the latest gossip. Alex and Ben, sadly, didn't get killed. Instead they got sent to jail, much to my despair, because Dad believed that they were just under the influence of Dimitri, in other words; 'I don't want the media to portray images of me that can effect the company and probably get me sent back to jail.'

That year, I changed. I became the person I've been looking for, I was stronger. I am stronger. My heart will always be broken but I have fixed it up as much as I can. There will always be a crack that only he can fill.

Coal didn't return back to high school to finish off our Junior year or for our Senior year. He disappeared again and so did Ezra and Ray. It was like they were never here. There was no trace of them and some part of me wondered if Coal knew I was looking for him. I gave up looking, knowing this was the best. It ironic how I was the one who broken things off yet I'm also the one who was looking for him.

Earphones blocks out the sound in the coffee shop and only I can hear is Selena Gomez singing. My fingers tapped against the keyboard of the laptop as I hum along to the music.

The coffee shop door swings open and on instinct, I look up. My breath hitches and my mind stops processing everything besides the person who walked in. The faint beating of my heart quickens and I feel all these old emotions rush through my body like a wave.

He stands there, a smile on his face but I knew him well enough to know that it's fake. His hand is shoved in his pocket as he walks up to the counter. His light brown hair has been cut so it doesn't cover his eyes and a bit messy. He is a bit more built and you can see his muscles underneath his black t-shirt. He's definitely gotten tall, probably towering over me even when I'm in heels.

"Mocha." His voice deep and husky, still able to make my heart skip.

I look away and try focus on my essay but no words formed in my mind. I can't believe that he is here, in front of me, still looking hot as always.

I thought I got away from my feelings but it seems like he brought them back.

Too aware that he was in the same place as me, I pack my bag up hastily and sling it over my shoulder before making my way out the shop. Just as I am about to get to the door, my shoulder hits someone else's and my paperwork falls onto the floor.

"Shit."  I mutter and bend down, collecting my sheets of work. Someone else helps me, piling them into a neat pile.

"I'm sorry." A husky voice mutters and I freeze, my heart pounding.

I gulp and keep my eyes on the ground. "It's okay." I mumble.

I stand up and watch him stand up too, holding the pile of paper out in front of me. "Here."

I carefully take it off him, our fingers brushing against each other, causing me to let out a quiet gasp.

I keep my eyes on the ground and mutter quickly. "Thank you."
