Not so different anymore(book 2 of the 'different' series)

Cafe

-Lucy's pov-

"16.5?" I tap the pencil on the desk as Natsu shakes his head no, "Nope, it's 15.25." I frown. "Wha? Bu-" Natsu puts a finger over my lips, "Shhhh. I know I'm right." I remove his finger, still frowning, "How?" He takes out his phone, "I'm using the calculator." I roll my eyes. "How about actually do the problem." I go over the mess of numbers while tapping my pencil against the desk. "We should go on a date or hang out," Natsu says, nudging me. "Why?" I erase my mistake and re-do the problem. "'Cause. We haven't talked in forever. Plus, we haven't been on an actual, relaxing, date." The realization hits me. "You're right." Sure we've gone on dates, but we don't really get to talk peacefully, without anyone or anything bothering us... "How about today?"

I circle my final answer before nodding, "Sure." Natsu takes my paper and examines it. "You work pretty fast..." The bell rings making Natsu sigh, "Already? Come on, I'll take you to your next class." I get my things and follow Natsu. "So.... What happened to you while I was 'sleeping'?" He looks over to my schedule before responding, "Nothing much..." My curiosity kicks in. "Really? Nothing?" He nods, "Yeah. What did you expect?" I shrug. "I dunno... Maybe something like, 'I got a girlfriend or-'" he cuts me off, "What!?" He stops walking making me do the same. "What? I was in a coma so I thought-"

"Well, you thought wrong, Lucy. What makes you think I would cheat on you?" I urge him to continue walking. "But I was in the coma... I thought..." He chuckles before putting an arm around me, "Lucy, just because you were in the coma doesn't mean we broke up. You were just asleep. Nothing in our relationship changes just because of that." We get to my class. "Ok... See you at lunch then."

"Yeah." I give him a quick hug before going in.

-lunch-

"Lu-chan!" Levy calls from across the cafeteria making everyone look at me. Just their eyes on my makes me feel so much anxiety... I quickly walk to the table where they're sitting. "We finally have Lucy back!" Lisanna sits next to me making the table full. "So, how were your first couple of hours back?" Levy is practically jumping in her seat. "Good, I guess."

"Luce, we have to go." Natsu gets up; his lunch in hand. "What? For what?" Levy pouts. "She's going to her tutorials." Erza says, eating her cake before her actual meal. "Awww, nooooo! I can tutor her! I'm way smarter than Natsu!"

"Hey!" I look over to Natsu then back to Levy, "Can't you just tutor me here?" Most agree making Natsu sit back down in his original spot. "He just wanted alone time with Lucy." Gray says, smirk on his face. "That's no fair Natsu! I want to talk with her, too!" Sting gets up, "I'm gonna go get lunch, anyone else coming?" I get up. "I'll come." While me and Sting go to the lines, I hear Erza scold Natsu and Gray about fighting. "That's weird.... Why the heck would Natsu be your tutor?" I shrug as we get plates. "I was wondering that, too." We our food and start walking back. "I'll ask the old man."

"Ok." We sit back down to Erza crying over her cake as Jellal hugs her. Natsu and Gray have bumps and bruises on their faces. "We were gone for like, five minutes and you guys already made Erza mad?" I give her my cupcake, "It's no strawberry cake, but you can have it." Erza looks at me then back at the small pastry before saying, "Thank you, Lucy," And eats the cupcake. "Ok, Natsu, let's begin." I get out my books and so does he. He mostly goes over math and science while everyone has small talk. "Lucy, do you think you can come with us to the mall today?" Lisanna asks, Erza and Levy smile. I'm about to say something before Natsu says, "I'm taking her on a date. You guys can go to the mall together tomorrow." At this statement most of the table gasp. "That's no fair Natsu's hogging Lucy all for himself!"

I bite into my apple while putting down the formula for a problem. Natsu, Levy and Sting start fighting about, "Natsu having Lucy all to himself" they continue fighting until I can no longer concentrate. "Guys!" They all stop and look at me, "Can you, I don't know, shut up? Or fight quietly? I'm trying to work here!" They all apologize. "I'll help you, if you'd like." Jellal says. Which I agree to. Natsu continues to fight with them as Jellal teaches me. Juvia and Gray are both watching something on Gray's phone as an attempt to ignore the fight. Erza and Lisanna make small talk, laughing here and there. Most people stare at our table as they still argue. The bell rings making all of them stop. "I have my next class with Lucy, I'll see ya guys later." Jellal kisses Erza on the cheek, and Natsu kisses me on the cheek before we go.

"Are you sure Natsu is your tutor?" I shrug. "He told me he was. I still don't believe it though." We continue walking through the halls. "He  probably bribed the original tutor..." I sigh, "Of course he did."

-after school-

I wave to everyone as Natsu grabs my hand and starts taking me. "They made this new place while you were out, do you wanna go to it?" I nod, "Sure." Natsu puts his arm around me as we walk to the surprise place. I fix my strap; trying to make the bag comfortable on my back. "Let me carry it." I give him my bag, knowing he won't let me carry it myself. "Do you have your shoes in here?" I nod, "plus the shit ton of stuff they gave me as homework." He puts his arms back around me; bringing me close to him. "Can't you tell me where you're taking me?" He sighs. "It's just this small cafe, nothing special." I hug him. "To me it is. I'm spending time with you," I say. He smiles down at me. "You're adorable." He complements me. He talks about the things I missed. Wendy and Romeo are officially together, Lisanna got a boyfriend, he told me what happened to... them, and Jellal finally told them about the tattoo on his face. "Why didn't you tell me this when I asked you earlier?"

"You asked about me, not the others." Natsu stops walking. I look to see a small building. "This is it. Let's go in." I read the sign. Mermaid Heel cafe... Natsu opens the door making a bell ring. "Be right there!" I already know who's going to scream and probably drops some plates. Kagura comes out with a stack of plates. She sees Natsu then me. As I predicted, she drops the plates. "Lucy!!" She shouts not really caring about the plates she dropped. She goes over and gives me a light hug. "Kagura!"
Someone shouts. She lets go and groans. "I don't wanna pick them up! Have Millianna pick them up!" The girl who shouted at her has a black afro, short, and chubby. "Millianna is in the back making some coffee, so you have to clean it up." Kagura goes to the plates while groaning.

"Here I'll take you to your regular spot." She takes us to a table on the far right of the cafe. We sit down as she gives us menus. "Just call me over once you've decided." She walks away leaving me and Natsu alone. The door opens and the bell rings. "Hey." I look over. "You're here!" Kagura says, walking over to him. "Lucy's here!" Natsu looks back and grins. "Hey, Rouge." He waves back and smiles at me. "Hey, haven't seen you in a while." He walks up to us. "Duh." He comes up to me and pats me head. "You two on a date?" Natsu nods, looking over the menu. "Yukino told me you were awake, but I was away."

"Where?" I ask. "After I graduated decided to wander around. I'm probably bothering you. Talk later." He follows Kagura. "Ready?" Natsu looks over, and I nod. "Yeah."

I'M SORRY THIS IS ANOTHER BORING CHAPTER! T-T I wrote this all in two days so it sucks .-. I'm not going to update that much... The reason I wrote this all in two days is because of my first book. People couldn't shut up about all my mistakes that were already stated and I'm well aware of those mistakes. So, I will be mostly work on editing my first book. Gomen ;-;
