-Wendy's pov-"Then I'll make time," he grabs Rouge by his collar, "for you to know that Lucy's mine." he says, before kneeing his gut. Rouge gasps for air before attacking Natsu. "Wendy! Help me stop them!" Kagura pleads, pulling on my arm. "I'd rather not. Just let them fight. If Natsu fights him now, he won't bother him anymore." Natsu dodges Rouge's punch, but Rouge knees his gut.
Kagura gets her phone and quickly dials a number. "Lucy!" I gasp, "Kagura, no!" I reach for the phone, but she quickly moves away. "Natsu burst in my house and started to attack my brother!" I hear Natsu scoff, "Great." I can hear Lucy scream on the other side of the line. "Please hurry!" She hangs up. The boys continue to fight. Lucy's going to be so mad at me.
-Lucy's pov-
I run out of my room, leaving my drawing pad and earbuds on my bed. I quickly slip on my shoes before running out the door, ignoring Sting screaming at me. I look at Kagura's text: her directions. It's almost night. I continue to run, filled with anger and worry. Wendy told him. I decide to run the whole way. I stop to catch my breath, my legs ache and throb. I make little stops her and there as I run. I finally make it and bang on the door. Kagura opens. I look to see Natsu on top of Rouge, holding him by his shirt. "Listen douche bag,--"
"Natsu!"
"-- I want you to stay away from Lucy. The next time I hear that you're hitting on her, I will kill you." I try to pull him off of Rouge. "Natsu, get off of him!" Rouge wipes the blood of his nose, "Since when do you tell me what to do?"
"Since now." Kagura and I manage to pull Natsu off of Rouge. Wendy's sitting on the couch, curled up in a ball. I drag Natsu away. "What the hell!?" I whisper shout to him. He wipes the small amount of blood off his face, "He started it. He was the one hitting on you."
"I don't care! You came all this way just to beat him up! Wendy told you, right?!" He shakes his head no, "No, I heard you guys." He dabs at his forehead with his shirt, wincing in pain. I attempt to keep a mad expression on, but fail. A worried one takes over. I bring my hand to his face, examining him. "Stupid fuck." I say, still looking him over. He takes my hand away, "I'm fine. Probably just bruised. Maybe a little sore."
"And you'll get more if you come threaten me again." Rouge threatens. Natsu tilts his head over. "Eh? Look, I can finish this right now--"
"Stop. Both of you," I say. "Rouge, I like you, but not in that way. Natsu, you don't have to worry. Sorry, Kagura. Come on, Natsu."I grabs Natsu's wrist, but he quickly removes my hand. He goes up to Rouge, punches him, and goes back to me. Before he can get there, Rouge grabs him by his shirt and starts to attack him. "Stop, guys!!" I try to stop them. "Lucy, move!" Kagura tries to stop me, but I'm persistent. I try to go in between them, but I get elbowed in the face.
Both stop and look at me. "Look what you did you asshole!" Natsu goes to my aid, furious at Rouge. "It wasn't me! It was you!" I take Natsu's hand away and start for the door. Wendy follows me. "Fuck you!" I hear Natsu shout at Rouge as he starts to follow me, too. Wendy awkwardly smiles at me, "Heeeeey, Lucy." I sigh, "Why'd you tell him?" I feel my cheek throb in pain.
"I didn't! He heard us!"the moon is out. It's white light is barely visible due to the lights scattered around the streets. Little bugs group around the lights like glue. "Yeah right," I say, irritated. Wendy tugs on my arm as we walk to a bus stop. "Please don't be mad at me, Lucy! I didn't even tell him!" She pleads. I look back to see Natsu still touching his forming bruises on his face. "Stop touching your face, Natsu." He look up at me, "Fine. Is your face ok?" I don't answer him. He pouts. "It wasn't me..." He grumbles under his breath. "I don't care. You were still at fault." He gapes. "How is this my fault?!"
