Sorry again

I sit down at the usual table. Natsu comes back from the AP's office after shouting to the councilor. He plops down, dropping his backpack on the floor. "What did you do?" Natsu brushes off the question and puts his head down. "Hey, I was talking to you!" Grays shouts at him. "None of your business." I frown at Natsu, "What'd they tell you?"

"I got detention for the week, and I still didn't manage to be your tutor again." Erza comes, "Lucy, they said you can't have tutorials here." We all gasp dramatically. "Why!?" Erza looks over to Natsu. "Reasons, come on, let's go." I get up, "Bye guys." Everyone whines as Erza and I leave. "hold up, I'm getting a call." I get my phone and answer it, "Hello?"

"Lucy." I sigh, recognizing the voice. "Don't hang up!" They plead. Erza looks at me, confused. I take my phone away from my face, "it's Rogue. We can keep walking." Erza raises an eyebrow. "I'll tell you later." She shrugs before we continue walking. "Look, I have the proof you wanted. Come over after school and everything will be clear."

"And how do I know you're not lying to me? For all I know, you can just be doing this to get closer." I can hear him sigh on the other side of the phone, "Why would I lie? I wouldn't hurt you like that. What I feel for you is sincere. Why can't you see that?" Erza opens the door to the room. She lets me go in first before closing the door. "But I don't feel that way."

"But I do. I promise you I can make you way more happier than Natsu ever–" I hang up, cutting him half sentence. We sit down. "What happened?" I stuff my phone in my backpack and get out my things. "Rogue has been telling me that Sting and I don't have the same mom. He's been saying that Sting and him are fraternal twins or something like that." Her mouth goes agape. "... How? Is he certain? This is something extremely delicate." I blink back tears before fake coughing. "Uh, yeah, he's pretty confident on it. He wants me to go over to his house and confirm it." Erza grabs hold of my hand and squeezes it gently. "But even if you guys aren't related, that doesn't stop the strong relationship you guys have." I wipe my eyes with the back of my hand. I sniff before coving my face with my hands. "I know... It's just, I don't wanna believe that my parents were capable of lying like that. They never, ever lied to me. I know my parents well.."

"Everyone has secrets, Lucy. Some worse than others. But I'll tell you what, you have us. We won't leave. We'll help you get back up, just like we've always have. And, thank you for telling me, I'm glad you trust me." I nod, a tear rolling down my cheek. "I know, thank you. Now, we should get started." She nods, getting out her things too.

-Lucy's pov-

"Lucy!" I turn to see Natsu running after me. I stop walking, waiting for him to catch up. "Sting said to go home without him, he needed to do something." I nod, "Thanks for telling me. See you." He grabs me arm. I look back, raising an eyebrow. His eyes bore into mine. "What's wrong?" I remove his hand from my arm. "Nothing. Just tired." I kiss his cheek, trying to make him not focus on the fact that I'm not feeling good. "You sure?" He brings me closer and kisses my forehead. I nod. "Mhm, I'm gonna go now. See you." I remove his hands away from me and walk home. For once, he doesn't follow me. My phone buzzes in my pocket, telling me a got a call. I get it out and answer. "Hello?"

"Lucy, are you coming?" I rolls my eyes before responding, "No, I'm not. I have homework to do." Before he can answer, I hang up. I squeeze my phone. God I wanna throw it so bad. I walk all the way home. I get the keys from my backpack and unlock to the door. It opens with a small creak coming out. I close it and lock the door. I throw my backpack on the couch and head to my room. I grab my shorts and tee. I quickly slip off the clothes I have and put on my sleep attire. My phone buzzes in my pants' pocket. I grab it and turn it on. It's Levy.
