-Natsu's pov-I bring Lucy close. I am so sorry. Levy walks next to me. Her worried eyes look over Lucy. "My Lu..." Sting waits anxiously in the back of Gajeel's car. Levy opens the door for me and I carefully put Lucy down. "Lucy!" Sting scoots close and grabs her face. Lucy wakes up. "Thank god you're ok." Lucy grabs Sting's hands. "Stop. I wanna sleep." She turns around, making her back face Sting. His face falls to sadness. She brings her knees to chest. "Lucy..." I get in the back next to Lucy as Levy goes to sit in the front with Gajeel. I put my hand on her cheek, making her face me. She grumble something and takes my hand off.
"Just leave her alone. She needs time to rest."

-Natsu's pov-"She's really cold. Someone needs to be close to her." My mom wraps the blanket tightly around Lucy. I go to her and quickly un-button my flannel. I sit next to her and bring her close. I grab her toes, the cold giving me goosebumps all over my arm. Wendy sits next to her; her face is full with worry. "She'll have to miss school. I don't want anything happening to her because of her... mental state." Sting sits on the other couch, his face in his hands.
"Yeah, um, can I stay with her?" My mom looks over at Sting, his state almost the same as Lucy. She nods, "Of course, Sting." Lucy's breathing is harsh. I pull her closer. "Natsu, bring Lucy up to your room and make sure she doesn't get too cold. Sting, we have a guest room for you. I suggest we all go get some rest." She walks up to her room. I carry Lucy, making sure she doesn't wake up. Wendy and Sting follow me up the stairs.
"Night Wendy; Sting."
"Night." They both say at the same time. Wendy guides Sting to the guest room. I hold Lucy tighter as I try to open my door. I manage and fully open the door with my hip. I drop her gently onto my bed and go to my drawer and get an old t-shirt. I open another and get a pair of shorts. I slip both on, take off my shoes and socks, and crawl into bed. I scoot closer to Lucy and put my arm around her waist. "Do you wanna change?" I whisper in her ear. She turns to face me. She shakes her head no. "Ok, goodnight, princess." I kiss her forehead before closing my eyes. She tugs on my shirt making me open my eyes. "Natsu.... it's not fair." She sits up and covers her face with her small hands.
"Lucy..."
"Why is it always me...?" She looks back at me, her eyes are glossy with tears. Her lips quiver as she blinks backs tears. "Everything will pass, Lucy. Just go to sleep. You need it." She lays back down, wrapping her arm over my torso. "You'll never leave, right? I don't care if it's a lie." I run my hands through her gold colored hair. I kiss her forehead again. I lift her head, making eye contact. "I'll never leave you, Lucy. None of us will. We all care for you, so, so, so much." She scoots closer to my face and plants a kiss on my lips. "You always know what to say."
I kiss her back, but longer. "Go to sleep, Lucy." She nods before closing her eyes. "Goodnight, Natsu."
"Goodnight, princess."

-Natsu's pov-"Bye, mom. Make sure to take care of Lucy. She likes her soup with–"
"I know, I know. Go to school." My dad and Wendy wait for me in the car. I jog to the car and hop in. The car ride is silent. We drop off Wendy then my dad drops me off. "Bye," I say as he says a bye back before I shut the door. Levy waits anxiously with the others. "Is Lucy ok?! Why isn't she here?!" Levy asks question after question. "She's better. She just needs to stabilize herself."
"Mind explaining everything that happened?" Gray asks. I nod before we all walk to Lucy's first period. "What about Sting?"
"He's fine, he's taking care of Lucy." I respond to Jellal's question. We all sit and everyone waits for me to spill. "Lucy and Sting aren't blood related. Rogue and Sting are. After hearing that, Lucy ran out. That's when Levy called me and asked for me to help."
Levy nods, "Yeah, I told them that. What about when you guys got home?" I get up from the chair and rest against the wall. I run my hand through my hair, remembering how broken she looked. "She was... delicate. She was so fragile... When we went to my room, she had another break down." Concern was written all over their faces. "Will she be coming tomorrow, though?" I shrug, "I hope so. She just needs a day to straighten up. Hopefully she'll be better." Everyone stays silent. The bell rings, and we all say bye. "See ya guys."
I start walking to first period but Gray stops me. "Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?"
"What?"
"Talk to her. I can't imagine the pain she's going through. But, you obviously have her confidence and love. Make her happy, will ya?" His words hit me like a ton of bricks. Why would he be telling me this? I stare at him, too shocked to say anything. My mouth forms the shape but I can't speak. I finally manage to say something, "Y-yeah, I will." He smiles before walking to his first period.

-Natsu's pov-My mom, Wendy and I walk in to the house. It's strangely quiet. "Lucy has been in your room all day. Can you make her come down so she can eat?" I nod, walking up the stairs. I hear Lucy scream, "But why does it always happen to me, Sting?! Why can't it be someone else for a change?! Why does everything get taken away from me?!" I stop mid-way to opening the door. Her cries and sloppy and jagged. "Just because I'm not your real brother doesn't mean I love you any less! I still love you, Lucy! You'll never lose me. Not ever." I open the door.
Both look to me. Sting goes out of my room and Lucy covers herself with my blankets. Sting goes down the stairs, skipping every other step. I walk to Lucy. "Hey, what happened?" I rub her back as she cries. Her breathing is all over the place. Her back going up and down for greedy gulps of air. "We just a had fight." I pull the covers so her golden hair shows. Her face is hidden in the tangles of her hair. "Lucy, sit up." She doesn't listen. She reachers for the cover but I don't let her. "Sit up and look at me." She stays laying down for a little before groaning. She sits up and my lips meet hers.
I grab her face before she can pull away. The kiss is tender, loving, gentle. I can taste the tears that she's shed. She responds. I rest my forehead on hers. "Calm down. You need to eat. Let's go down stairs, alright?" Lucy looks at me. Her big brown eyes glossy with tears. Her tear-stained cheeks are a light pink and so is her nose. Her golden blonde hair is a mess. "I'm not hungry." I get up and pull her with me. I hug her.
"Lucy, please. We can talk after we eat, ok?" She looks up at me, her eyes filled with sadness. How I wish I could just wipe that off her face. "I'm sorry I'm always so selfish. I'm sorry I want you all to myself. I'm sorry I love you so much I don't want you to go." I look at her lovingly. I bring her closer and kiss her again. I caress her cheek as our lips move again each other's. "I won't ever go." She follows me downstairs.
My mom has made instant noodles for her. The steam comes off the hot noodles. Lucy sits down at the table. She rubs her eyes and face. Sting sits on the couch, watching tv. Wendy sits next to Lucy. She hugs her. "It'll all get better, Lucy." Lucy hugs Wendy back.
"I hope so."
