Annie leaped off the wall and began to fall at an alarming speed. She fired the hooks just before she hit the ground. A Titan swiped at her. She expertly dodged to the left and began heading straight for the Armored Titan.

She heard a scream from nearby. There was a little girl with scarlet hair trying to run away from a gaining Titan. Annie landed onto a roof, her boots skidding across to stop, and quickly altered her course. The Titan lunged, opening its large mouth to claim its prey. Annie swooped down and grabbed the little girl. The Titan's mouth only ate stone and dirt.

"Hold on," Annie said to the child, the girl's arms wrapped under her shoulders, as they zoomed past housing structures and towards the district exit.

A ten meter swatted at them. Annie quickly dodged left as the little girl held on for dear life. A thirteen meter dived at the two. The Guardian quickly gained altitude. Suddenly, a fourteen meter grabbed Annie's right leg. She growled, spun her blades, cutting the Titan's fingers off, and sped away.

There was a large crowd of people rushing through in desperate attempts to escape the bloodthirsty giants. Annie dropped the girl off, turned, and launched herself towards the Armored Titan. As she sped towards her enemy, two Titans tried swatting at her. She swiftly got higher and avoided the attack. As Annie descended, she raised her right hand to her mouth and bit down hard.

Lightning struck her, the bolt shook the ground. Armin turned to see Annie's Titan emerge from the cloud of steam, dashing towards her opponent. It was shortly after that when the last citizen passed through the gate.

"All squads!" Eren shouted, "Evac is successful! Regroup and engage the Titans! Assist the Female Titan by keeping them away from her! Move!"

All that had their ODM gear careened towards any Titans nearby.

Three Titans blocked the Armored Titan from Annie. She charged forward nonetheless. She rammed into one, causing it to fall into another. The third came quickly. Annie swung her left fist backwards, hitting the Titan in the mouth with her forearm. Unfortunately, the Titan managed to sink its teeth into her flesh and took out a decent sized chunk. She bolted forward, ignoring the wound.

Something feels off, Armin thought, she's in Titan form, but she's not letting off any steam. And her blood should be evaporating by now.

The Armored Titan quickly noticed Annie, pulled back his right arm, and tried to punch her. She ducked down and struck his midsection with a right jab, but her arm didn't crystallize.

What's going on? she thought.

Reiner threw a roundhouse kick that was heading for her left side. Annie countered it by lifting her left leg and threw a right hook to his jaw. Her fist made contact, but pain shot up her arm in an instant. Suddenly, her vision began to blur and started seeing double images. Reiner threw two more punches, which Annie luckily dodged. Blood was running down her left arm and she suddenly felt dizzy.

Armin landed on a nearby roof and watched the two fight. He noticed Annie was staggering and struggling to defend herself.

"Something's wrong," he said to himself, "I don't think she's healing!"

Annie threw a right jab with all her might into Reiner's stomach, trying to focus on crystallizing it. She failed. Her arm made contact.

A loud, sickening crack filled the air, followed by a horrifying, pained scream. Her forearm was now bent in a gruesome way, the bone sticking out of her skin.

Reiner took advantage of this and began throwing punches to her face, sides, and stomach, all of them hitting their mark. Blood clouded Annie's vision even more as it filled her Titan's mouth. She tried throwing a wild left haymaker in attempts to regain her footing. Reiner saw this and struck it as came towards him, ripping her entire forearm off.

"Annie!" Armin cried.

The Armored Titan struck Annie's head with tremendous power, sending her flying backwards. She landed on her side and slid, completely knocked out. The Titan body
now steamed and began to evaporate.

"Annie!!" Armin shouted louder as he rushed towards her.

"Annie is down!" Eren shouted, "All squads engage the Armored Titan!"

The Armored Titan walked slowly towards his opponent, with the goal of finishing her off for good.
