Ever realize that time flies when you really don't want it to? Yet when you do, it instantaneously decides to move at a pace that could rival that of a snail.
This is basically a summary of my day. I've been dreading this day ever since my mom gave the earth shattering news that my cousin Shayna is visiting for the weekend.
Okay so maybe I'm exaggerating just a smidge, but honestly the girl is a nightmare! I have the right to exaggerate.
I spent a good portion of the day just silently praying for Shayna's flight to be delayed or maybe for her to be mauled by a cat on the way here or decide that she didn't want to visit anymore.
It seemed like a likely event in my head okay. I'm pretty sure even animals can't stand her. Which is funny because animals are usually very loving and accepting towards their kind.
Sigh.
I'm turning into a mean person now. See what you do, Shayna? Gah.
The day was moving at the speed of light. Legit. I feel as though I only just got to school yet somehow it's already the second last period.
What.
That was terrible for more reasons than one.
I mean for starters, I'm Niall deprived.
He had an assignment to work on during lunch while I had a history test to write.
Hopefully I'll see him after school.
The bell rang, breaking my train of thought and also reminding me that I was a step closer to hell.
On account of my stressing and zoning out, I missed a good portion of my Geography lesson. I'll have to get notes from Ashley, seeing as she's the only one who ever actually listens in class.
I hardly ever pay attention either to be honest, yet somehow I'm the highest in my class. Don't ask me how because I'm still trying to figure it out.
I sighed, slinging my back pack over my shoulder and walking sluggishly out of the class.
As I was walking down the hallway, Natasha was walking out of her physics class. She spotted and started walking towards me.
Once she had fallen into step with me, she began talking.
"Ready to face the she-devil?"
"I don't think I'll ever be?" I sighed.
"I've got a pitchfork at home. Oh and some pepper spray in my bag. You can borrow them if you want?"
I couldn't help but laugh. Bless this girl.
"I'll don't think I'll need them just yet, but just keep them on standby for me" I chuckled.
"Sure thing" she smiled.
"Wait, you carry pepper spray in your bag every day?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Don't you?" She eyed me as if I was strange for not doing so.
"No...no I don't" I said slowly, regarding her carefully.
"Pfft, weirdo. You're gonna regret not keeping such when a creeper tries to kidnap you and turn you into a cat hybrid" she scoffed.
"I- why would someone even- you know what, never mind." Is this child even normal?
"Anyway, I'll see you later. Ms Briggs is gonna chew me and spit me out if I'm late for her class. Again. Byyeee" she waved, before skipping towards her next class.
