× Niall ×
I left Zahraa's house at around 5pm after receiving a call from my mom telling me to come back home and help her unpack the groceries and all that. Bobby probably wasn't home, hence her calling me.
I don't mind though. I love helping my parents when I can.
Zahraa had been fast asleep when I'd gotten the call, cuddled into my side and would scrunch up her nose and mumble incoherently in the cutest way every few minutes.
It took everything I had in me to pry myself away. I would've stayed forever if I could.
Her cousin Shayna actually laughed at me as I stood at the door gazing longingly at her instead of leaving.
Shayna was actually a pretty cool girl. I guess it's a dominant gene in Zahraa's family. Her family members that I've met so far are so laid back and have amazing personalities. And were pretty easy on the eyes.
What? It's true. Zahraa's still the prettiest. Call me biased or whipped or whatever the hell you want, but it's true.
I ended up getting Shayna's number that evening. I mean what if something ever happened to Zahraa? Who would let me know? I figure Shayna would be a good informant type person, plus she seems quite fond of her cousin. And me.
Hehe the in-laws love me.
Okay I'm getting ahead of myself here. It's still early for that, but my mind can't help but drift towards such thoughts at times. I know for a fact that she's the one I want to wake up next to for the rest of my life. And then some.
People may say we're too young to know about forever, but I say they don't know what they're talking about. Because if this isn't real, then I don't anymore.
I had finished helping mom unpack and she was now starting with dinner. Fun fact: I cannot be trusted in the kitchen.
So basically that was my cue to head to the lounge and watch a game or two.
I decided to text Shayna.
Niall: Hey Shayna, it's Niall. Just wanted to check whether Zee had woken up yet? I feel bad for leaving without saying goodbye but I also don't wanna disturb her.
Her reply came in about a minute later.
Shayna: Oh hi there. And nah she hasn't woken up yet. Still out like a light haha.
Niall: Ahh crap. Just do me a favour and tell her I said good night and I hope she dreams of me as soon as she's up. I'll text her tomorrow.
Shayna: Sure thing
Niall: Thank ya loads. Goodnight :)
Shayna: No worries. Nightie :)
Now derby dearest, where were we?
× Zahraa ×
I still hasn't moved from my previous spot, trying desperately to concentrate on the match that was playing on TV. Shayna was still typing away at her phone and giggling every now and again.
A part of me was convinced she was still talking to Niall and that very same part of me wanted to chuck a vase at her head.
Finally, not being able to stand being in the same room as her anymore, I got up off of the couch and into the kitchen to make a snack.
Vanilla ice cream and crushed Oreos sounded rather awesome right about now.

I walked back to the kitchen about fifteen minutes later with my bowl of goodness in hand, only to find Shayna with my phone in her hand and she seemed to be typing away furiously.
Oh?
"Find whatever you were looking for, Shay?" I asked calmly, leaning against the doorframe. My bowl was balanced in between my elbow and forearm. Got to protect the goods.
The speed at which her head snapped up to look at me was almost comical. Almost. I was a little too irked to find it funny though.
That and the fact that she almost dropped my phone in the process.
"Oh I err-" she cleared her throat, her face taking on an interesting crimson colour. "I was urhm looking at your lock screen"
"And that process involves typing how, exactly?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I. Busted," she sighed, "I was kind of trying to figure out your password. Evidently you're not as predictable as I remember you being" she mumbled sheepishly, scratching the back of her neck.
At that point I knew she was lying because I've had the same password since the third grade.
"Uh huh" I said eyeing her skeptically before walking over to where she was seated. I took my phone from loose grasp, noticing how nervous she seemed all of a sudden.
I eyed her one last time before mumbling out a half-hearted "goodnight" and making my way to my room.
I glanced at my phone, seeing that it was only 7:30pm. Way too early for me to be going to bed, but I just really couldn't be around her anymore.
In my room, I tried watching Grey's Anatomy, but I could hardly even concentrate.
What had happened this evening was constantly nagging at my subconscious.
Not even Mc Dreamy and my precious son George could stop my thoughts from drifting to Shayna and what she'd been doing with my phone. And also what had happened when Niall was still around.
Shayna was up to something and I'll bet you my favourite Adidas sneakers that it wasn't anything good.

A/N: I apologize for a shorter than usual chapter. I haven't updated in a while bc of exams and all that, but the holidays are upon us, so I'll be updating more.
Hope you still enjoyed such :)
