Okay this Oneshot is incredibly cheesy and I'm not sorry. It was one if my early headcannons so give me some slack. I tried to write cute and funny but I'm not sure what to think of it. Oh well. Don't forget to Comment and Vote. I'd love to write your ideas so please comment some ideas! Thanks! Read on!!!! Credit to Shannon Messenger for drawing!
Sophie Foster took ballet as a child. In kindergarten, she was like every other girl, she wanted to be a ballerina when she grew up. Her pink fluffy tutu was something she wore even outside of practice.
But once she was older, right before she hit her head and her telepathy happened, she decided to quit. She was quite good, but she thought that it was embarrassing. Sophie's telepathy came and she forgot about it, thinking she needs to do anything and everything to be ordinary and not draw attention. Once she skipped grades and became an outsider in school she never told anyone about her dance classes as a kid. She had stopped dancing but she still was paranoid it was out of the ordinary.
In the Lost Cities, she finally had some friends. The dancing secret came up in a conversation in between her and Biana, and she refused to leave without Sophie teaching her a human move. Sophie sighed and quickly showed her how to do the Cha-cha Slide, getting the music from her IPod.
Biana told Keefe about it and him, being the stubborn elf he is, he marched up to Sophie and demanded to show him some moves. Fitz soon came into this and sided with Keefe, thinking this would be fun, even Dex laughed and agreed. Sophie never thought the boys could never more annoying.
She taught them stupid dances humans loved and eventually told them all casually that she used to be a ballerina. Not knowing what that was, she explained she wanted to be a graceful dancer.
"But you're so clumsy!" Keefe laughed jokingly.
"I know. I said it was an old dream of mine, not anymore though," Sophie said defensively.
Laughing if off, she continued the afternoon teaching them all human dance moves, and forgetting to care what anyone thought of it.
And from then on, everyone called her 'Dancing Queen' because of a song that accidentally played (she'd really loved that song when she was about 7). Fitz, Keefe, and Dex roared with laughter at the cheesy song as Sophie blushed red and covered her face with her hair, with Biana trying not to laugh with blown cheeks. Then she started to laugh too. Sophie gave up, and giggled along, finally grateful to have friends for once in her life.
