Kaguya watched Polaris go.

“My daughters, you have no idea what troubles you have stirred,” Kaguya sighed watching the Earth from the kitchen window. She sat there silently for the longest time.

“Kaguya? Is something wrong my dear?” Manny wrapped his arms around Kaguya’s shoulders.

“I worry for Emma, my Love. Jack may not even remember her, and she has made no attempt in contact.” Manny sighed and nodded.

“Yes I know. I should have told her sooner. Maybe then none of this would have happened.”

“Everything happens for a purpose, my Love.”

“Your parents?”

“You and I both know I had to leave Earth. I was not meant to stay,” Kaguya replied looking away sadly. Manny held her close as Kaguya began to cry. “They are like my daughters, but as I they must go to where their destinies lead. There is nothing we can do to stop it. Just… I pray for their safety. I pray they find what they are looking for.”

There they stood silently watching Earth. Silently watching Emma.

Emma continued to watch the starlit sky. She was glad she had a chance to speak with Polaris. She just wished she could talk to Manny and Kaguya.

“Manny. Princess Kaguya. If you can hear me. I need you. I don’t know what to do anymore.” Emma smiled at the sparkling dust that started to surround her.

Moon dust. The most powerful element on the moon. Stronger than Moon Crystal. Made from the beliefs of children in the guardians generation after generation. Emma felt her powers surge and confidence grow. She smiled shaking her head.

“You don’t know how to leave anything alone do you, North.” Emma reached out a hand as if to touch the North star. “The moon may shine brighter my friend, but yours is truly more brilliant.”

Emma rose to her feet and pulled off her bracelet and prepared for flight when she heard a rustle behind her.

“Who’s there?” Emma turned a full circle not able to find the person that spoke.

“Wow. You’re beautiful.” Emma frowned, but still couldn’t find the owner of the voice.

“What? Come out and stop hiding. I don’t have time for this, Fearling.”

“Fearling?” A boy stepped out from the shadows. “I’m not a fearling, but you’re obviously a guardian. A hot one at that. Do you always sparkle.”

Emma stared at the boy as if he’d lost his mind when she remembered the moon dust. She started to dust herself off, but it useless. Instead she raised her staff.

“State your bussiness.”

“I don’t answer to you. Listen I’m a little busy. Did a nightmare past through here?” Emma shook her head. “Great now I’m gonna get stuck with some weak dream like my brother.”

“Wh..what are you?” Emma backed away slowly.

“Name’s Link. I’m a dreamtaker.”

“Dreamtaker?” Emma remembered Manny’s words on them. Dangerous and unpredictable. “You’ll find nothing to feast on here.”

“I’m sure you have a powerful dream I could feast off of.” Link inched closer. Emma pressed her staff against his chest.

“Back off.” Link smirked and dissapeared. Emma turned around looking for the boy when he grabbed her by the neck.

“Night, Cutie.”

When Emma woke up she was in a dark room chained to a wall. Her staff on the other side of the room. Emma struggled against the chains, but it was useless. The door opened and the boy Link from earlier and two others entered.
