Emma winced as her head hit the stone hard wall. Just as she was about to hit the taker Link, he slammed the door shut.

“LET ME OUT!” Emma banged at the steely, cold door, but it was pointless. He had left and could care less about her screaming. All she could do was hope that Shade would get her out. “Hurry, Dreamtaker.” Emma sank to the ground running her fingers through her hair. She was grimy, cold and miserable. She looked at the Moon Dust sprinkled over her skin. She sighed as she watched the dust make her skin shimmer. She just had to get home to Manny.

Jack didn’t know what to do. There was no way he’d have a daughter. Besides he was pretty sure that he would have known if he did. Of course he didn’t have all of his memories, but he knew someone that did.

“Toothina? Tooth, are you here?” Jack landed on one of the platforms that made up Tooth’s place. As soon as he did so he was greeted by a swarm of tiny hummingbird-like creatures. The mini fairies, pieces of Tooth that help her complete her job as the Tooth Fairy. “Hey, mini’s. How are you?”

Jack smiled as he noticed the yellow feather of the smallest mini fairy. She flew over to him and pulled his hoodie. “Hey, little Baby Tooth.” Jack pulled her into his neck, hugging her with his finger.

“Girls! What are you doing?! We’ve got seven continents to hit up and over 2 billion children.” A figure of half hummingbird half woman made herself known among the sea of mini fairies. The sea parted to reveal Toothina, Queen of fairies.

Jack smiled watching Tooth’s face light up as she rushed over and hugged him.

“Jack! What a great surprise!” Tooth pulled away her arms still wrapped around his neck and her smile bright as ever. “What brings you here?”

“Actually, I wanted to talk you about my memories.” Tooth smiled gently and placed a hand on his cheek.

“Of course, Jack.” She nodded to the other mini fairies to get back to work and turned to Baby Tooth. “Baby Tooth, could you get Jack’s teeth please?” Baby Tooth chirped in response and flew off. Tooth looked at Jack worriedly. “What’s wrong?”

Jack rubbed the back of his neck and laughed nervously. “Well, I… Apparently I have a daughter.” Tooth frowned.

“Daughter? When…? When did you get a daughter?” Jack shrugged.

“I don’t know. That’s why I needed the memories.” Tooth nodded in sympathy. She placed a caring hand on his shoulder.

“Why don’t we find out then?” Tooth took Jack’s hand and led him to where Baby Tooth was arguing with another mini fairy. “Baby Tooth, what’s going on?” Baby Tooth replied in a series of very annoyed chirps. Tooth nodded her head. “I see. I’ll take care of it from here.”

Baby Tooth nodded and gestured for Jack to follow her. He did so and she patted a tooth container on the wall. Jack smiled at the picture of his younger, former self.

“Thanks, Baby Tooth.” Jack took the container and slid his finger across the puzzle-like lock.

“JACKSON! GIVE ME BACK MY HAIRBRUSH!!!” A blonde girl ran after the young boy fury on her face. The boy laughed.

“Only if you catch me, Elizabeth.”

“Jackson! A lady should not run!”

“Nor should they yell, but you’re doing that anyway.” Jack turned smirking.

“You little twit! Give me my hairbrush!” Jack climbed into the branches of the tree.

“Sure, Lizzy. On one condition.” Jack hung by his legs from the branch. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and placed her fists on her hips.
