Izaya gave one last glare to Shizuo and calmly stood up from his seat. He quietly left the room and threw himself on the couch, where he tried to dig the remote out from one of its gaps. When he finally found it, he lazily turned the TV on and switched the channel on Kids. Then he grabbed the blanket folded on another side of the couch, and groaningly disappeared under it, decided, it would be the best option to take a nap after this completely meaningless fight.

Shizuo, on the other side of the apartment, quietly observed all of the raven's actions through the open gate separating the dining room and the living room. He decided to stay put, since he really didn't want to stress himself with another one of their fights this late at night. The fact, that he just recently found out his dick liked men more than women and that his brain just had to pick the most horrible one of them; Izaya himself, stressed him out enough already.

"To hell with it..," he groaned and irritably stood up from the chair, when he could finally hear Izaya snoring. He knew that Izaya wasn't a person, who liked discussing stuff and solving problems, since he was lazy, but Shizuo still hoped that this time they could finally set things down as two normal teens and not as much as an old retired couple. He left Izaya's place, this time determined it's 100% over between them. He understood that everyone had some secrets that wouldn't like to come out, but having multiple love affairs behind your boyfriend's back is just taking it too far.

"Dear Izaya," Shizuo pulled out his phone from the pocket and started typing a message to the raven. "I'd appreciate it, if you could just stay out of my sight from now on. You really screwed up this time. Keep the stuff, I don't need them. And yes. It's over."
He read the text again. Again. And again.
"This is just stupid..," he sighed and deleted everything. Somehow, he wasn't able to do it. To break up. And it made him angry, that he ended up staying quiet again. Sitting up on his motorbike, Shizuo glanced up at Izaya's apartment one more time before leaving. Unfortunately, him in all his 'glory', was standing behind the big window, smirking mysteriously at Shizuo. The blonde angrily broke the eye contact, decided, that this is the last time he's seeing Izaya's face. He put on his helmet, turned on his bike and loudly disappeared in the maze of buildings, called Tokyo.

Izaya, in the meantime, wasn't exactly aware of the situation, so he just predicted that Shizuo needed some time to solve things in his head and the next day he would be back all happy and ready for some 'action'.

But then, a week went by.
Izaya wouldn't be all sick worried if Shizuo was at school, but he was absent for all five days straight. The unsettlement inside the raven was growing bigger and bigger with each day passing by. He tried to call him, but never reached him; and all he could hear on the other side of the line was just Shizuo's ordinary "Leave the message after the beep, or something."
Weekend came by and Izaya's lack of sleep really left a mark on his outer, as much as it did on his inner appearance. His usual dark circles around his eyes, managed to turn a shade darker and his hair was not even worth mentioning.
"Shizuo where the fuck are you?! I know you're mad at me and all, but disappearing for the whole week because of that reason is just fucking childish! Look, okay. I'm sorry. I'm fucking sorry! I'll apologize you one hundred times more if you want to, but just please, for fuck's sake come back..," Izaya sighed and with that, ended up one of many voice messages sent to Shizuo.

"Where the fuck are you," he hissed under his breath. He threw his phone on the bed and left the room. He couldn't bear with the situation anymore and he really needed a time out.
He picked up the remote from the bar counter in the living room and turned on the TV. 'The News' was on and Izaya groaned in annoyance, since he really hated that program.

"Lately, there was a notice, that more and more high school students started disappearing..."

Blah, blah.
Nothing new, nothing interesting as always.

His eyes ventured under the counter, noticing a new bottle of Jaegermeister, inspecting it with pure amusement.

"... no excuse is even our district... a young male student..."

Yeah, he disappeared and will be found next week, no biggie. Now the main question is, should I?
Izaya bent down and pulled the bottle to the surface, placing it on the counter. Humming some unknown song, he reached up to the shelf, grabbing a shot glass.

"... his parents reported the missing yesterday... they thought... sleepover... help studying... please call this number..."

They're still not over? Izaya casually poured himself a generous amount of liquor in the shot and narrowed it down bravely. He was lucky that his parents were never at home during the day. He poured himself another shot and brought it to his mouth. He focused on The News, since there was nothing else there to fix his boredom.

"... the boy... last seen on a motorbike... blonde hair, tall..."

Wait, what.
Izaya put away the shot and stepped closer to the TV. Was it possible..?

"... parents notified us that he is known by the name..."

Shizuo Heiwajima.

"SHIZUO HEIWAJIMA. Again, call the number under the..."

Izaya felt like throwing up.
