"Ken!" I shouted. I was in my room laying down watching tv.

"What?" He shouted back.

"Your commercial is on!"

I heard footsteps rushing down the stairs. He burst into my room, his eyes automatically trailing to the tv.

We had made a commercial to advertise Donut Ace, and I was the star of the commercial.

After the commercial finished he looked at me.

"I haven't seen Sky in a while." He said.

"Am I invisible?" I joked. He gave me a knowingly look. "She's been busy."

"Hmmm."

"What?"

"She's never been too business for you. " he commented.

"Things change Kenny boy." I shrugged.

"Stop calling me that." He said pretending to be annoyed. Truth be told, he loved the nickname.

"What else am I to call you? Kenneth?"

"How about dad?" I looked at him slowly.

"Dad?" I repeated.

"I've been talking to Ronnie and I told her I think we should adopt you as soon as your birthday comes." He smiled.

"You're kidding right?" I grinned. I could barely keep in my excitement.

"You're already part of the family Sky, we just need to make it official." He smiled.

"You're going to make me cry Kenneth." I said softly.

"I know you've been dreaming for this to happen, and I think it's about time for this dream to come through."

"What about everyone else."

"They can't wait. Well Jake is pretty bombed because he likes hitting on you but that's not important." I laughed at that. Jake was something else, but I would never see him as more than a friend. I was not about to be like Callie from The Fosters and hook up with my foster brother.

That really pissed me off. I was totally rooting for A.J and her, not Brallie. Let that ship sink already. Don't get me started on the fact that they slept together. That makes me so angry. I'm just glad that they're moving on with their lives now. (A/N The Brallie ships has finally sank and I see there's room for C.J ! Yass)

"Anyways, you're like the daughter I never had. I love the girls but there's just something about you." He smiled. A tear ran down my cheek, and he caught it with his finger. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Thank you for everything." I said pulling away.

"No problem," he said getting up. "You owe twenty bucks though."

"How?" I asked laughing.

"That date of yours. You think I didn't know you came in late? I went to sleep a few minutes past twelve and you weren't here."

I laughed. "You know you're not getting that right?"

"It still worth trying." He went upstairs to watch tv.

I can't believe they wanted to adopt me. Words could not explain how happy I was. I waited my whole life and it was finally going to happen.

Even though Ms. Chesters reason for me to come here had bad intentions, I was still happy that she sent me here.

The sound of my door opening made me snap out my thoughts. Skylar stood at the door frame, her face drain.

"He's our father." She stated.
