Chapter Nine - Guys aren't the only people who can't keep it in their pants."

"Skai!" A voice shouted. "Skai! Wake up."

"Go away." I groaned.

I was really tired from my date with Will. I got home after one in the morning. Kenneth was already sleeping by time I got home, so I doubt he knew what time I got in.

"Skai!" The person hit me with a pillow.

"What!" I shouted. I sat up on my bed and I was face to face with my twin sister, who I hated so much right now.

"How was your date? " she grinned.

"Skylar do you now what time it is?" I groaned laying back down. I pulled my cover over my face.

She pulled my cover off if me.

"It's after eleven." She stated.

"Really?"

"No," she answered. "It's actually a few minutes past eight."

"Are you kidding me Skylar?" I was mad. It was Sunday. The only time I actually got to sleep late because I had school weekdays and I worked at the donut shop on the Saturdays.

"Sorry," she said sheepishly. "I got up around seven because my parents were arguing. They never argue."

"Skylar every relationship has arguments."

"I know," she responded. "This time it was different. They were arguing about us."

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know," she answered. "My mom won't tell me."

"It has to be something big then."

"It don't think he likes that we're so close to you already," she said. "My mom loves you, Scott adores you, and I don't think I can live without you. You're basically apart of our family. He thinks we're moving too fast with you."

"Well that's acceptable," I responded. "It could be serial killer for all you guys know."

"But you aren't," she countered. "My mom did a background check on you, and you've never been in trouble."

My face fell. If they did a background check on me that means they know about Josh.

"So that means you know about my foster brother?" I asked quietly.

She nodded. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I did," I answered. "I told you i was abused."

"You are such a smart ass." She grumbled.

"Skylar, that isn't something I can just jump up and tell you."

"It's okay," she smiled. "I'm sure it was hard for you to deal with. But since you're going out with Carter, that must mean you're getting over it."

I smiled when she mentioned his name. Last night events came flowing back and I couldn't help myself.

"Look at that smile," she cooed. "Tell me everything."

I blushed and began to tell her about the second part of my date. First dates are supposed to be memorable and my definitely will.

I didn't do that on purpose, I swear.

Skylar had a grin on her face the entire time and I couldn't stop smiling and blushing. When I told her I kissed him, she literally screamed. I had to smack her for making noise so early in the morning.

Everyone is probably still in bed. Wait.

"Sky, how'd you get in here? " I asked.

"Veronica gave me a key because loves me." She said flipping her hair which by the way, was in a ponytail.
