After school, I met Alec at his locker. He was driving me home since he was coming over to do our project.
I was relieved that he was coming today. After what went down in school, I needed someone to get over it and that was Alec. He makes me forget about reality and just focus on the moment.
"Ty!" Alec called as we walked toward his car.
"What's up?" He said jogging over to us.
"I'm heading over to Skai's to do the project so I'll be home a little late." He informed Ty.
Ty replied an okay and ran off with his friends.
We got into Alec's car and headed to my house. He didn't know where I lived, so I directed him.
In around ten minutes we were parked in my driveway. I got out and walked towards the front door. Alec followed suit.
Nobody was going to be home until late. Liz and Lysa were helping out Ken at Donut Ace because two of his workers were sick. Jake was at football practice and Veronica was at work. I had the house to myself.
"Nice place," Alec commented as we walked inside.
"Thanks." I smiled closing the door behind him.
I headed to the kitchen and took out a plate of cookies that I hid in the microwave. What? If I had left it in the open, I wouldn't come home to any.
I grabbed two bottles of water and motioned Alec to follow me to my room.
"Welcome to Skai's Palace." I grinned as we walked inside. I set the bottles on the ground and placed the cookies on my desk. "Make yourself at home."
He closed the door and threw his bah on the floor. "If you insist." Kicking his shoes off, he plopped down on my bean bag.
I rolled my eyes. "Okay let's get started. I took out my book from my bag.
"Living arrangements." I called from the book.
"I think we should be living in a four bedroom house with two bathrooms, and a pool." He said eating a cookie.
I wrote it down in the space provided. "How many children?"
"Okay so you're pregnant right now, and we already have a baby boy. We're expecting a baby girl." He said. We asked Mr. HT if we could just choose the amount of children we want because sextuplets are a lot of work. He agreed but we had to have at least two.
"Why should we have a boy first?" I asked.
"That way, the boy can beat up any guy who messes with his baby sister." He answered.
"Sometimes older brothers are so annoying and over protective." I argued.
"Well, so are fathers. I need my boy to be looking out for his sister when I'm not there."
I rolled my eyes and wrote down what he said.
"Name of children."
"I like the name Riley for a girl and Reese for a guy." He said.
"I like Ryan better." I told him.
"Okay, Riley and Ryan." He stated.
I wrote the names of the children.
This session went on for about almost an hour. Alec kept trying to be bossy with everything. His argument was that he's the man of the house. I simply let him know that we're in 2016 not 1891. I can be the 'woman of the house' if I wanted to.
After we got the questions out if the way, we relax for a bit. It's weird how comfortable I am around him seeing that we've only been friends for roughly a month. I don't know what happened to the Skai who always had her guard up. Alec and Ty seemed trustworthy, so I don't think I have much to worry about.
