Sometimes the weekend seized to exist. It was like the week went : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, you blink and then it's Monday again.

I can't really complain though, I liked going to school and don't think I could ever stop liking it.

I liked getting good grades and feeling good about myself. Especially because no one helped me. I accomplished everything on my own, and that made me proud. Despite all my troubles, I was able to stay on top. If that isn't something to be proud of, then I don't know what is.

"When you are finished, please bring your papers." the math teacher announced. We were doing a math test.

I had quickly scanned through the paper and filled in the answers. Five minutes after we got the test,I was finished. I got up from my and seat and made my way to the teachers desk.

"Aren't you tired of showing off?" A guy said, annoyance clearly in his voice. He was the colour of chocolate and really handsome too.

"Not really," I answered "aren't you tired of repeating the same grade?"

"Do you need some ice for that burn?" Jake asked. The class laughed.

"That's enough, Skai please come." Ms Samuel interjected.

I sighed and walked to her desk. I gave her my paper and started to walk back to my desk.

The classroom door opened and a lady walked in to Ms Samuel. I sat in my seat and watched them.

Ms Samuel looked up. "Skai. You are needed at the principals office."

I took up my bag and walked towards the door. She stopped me and have me back my paper.

A+ Keep up the good work.

I smiled at the grade as I made my way out the door. The principal 's office wasn't that far from my class so I got there in a few minutes time.

"Skai!" A male voice shouted. Someone was always shouting my name. It got annoying sometimes. I missed being invisible.

I turned to see who was calling me. It was the guy who snapped at me in class.

"What do you want?" I asked calmly.

"I wanted to apologise for coming at you in class." He said. "I'm having some trouble in math, and you're just so smart, I feel..."

"You could always ask for help." I suggested.

"Asking for help makes me feel dumb." He replied.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Ty." He answered.

"Well Ty, there isn't anything wrong with asking for help. Even I need it sometimes. You can't make pride be the reason for your failure."

"Could you help me?" He asked quietly.

"Sure," I smiled. "We can set up a schedule or something." I took my sharpie out my bag and wrote my number in his hand. "Call or text me when you want to. Oh, and I won't tell anyone."

He smiled at me. "Thanks." He stalked off to wherever he was going.

I knocked on the door and waited. I heard 'come' and I let myself inside the office.

"Good morning Ms Jackson." She greeted me.

"Good morning." Is it bad that I don't remember my principal's name?

"Let me just get to the point," she started. "You've only been here for around three months and you are doing better than half the students who have been here longer."
