When I woke up the next morning Skylar was laying next to me. I smiled at her as I remembered our talk from last night.

As much as I would like to sit and watch my twin sister sleep, I have to get ready for school.

Although I had a lot of things happen in my life, I loved school. I wouldn't let anyone know I did, but it's true. I was a straight A student back at my old school, so that's why nobody assumed something was going on at home.

The students saw me as a loner with a bitchy attitude, while the teachers saw me as the quiet girl with good grades.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Twenty minutes later when I was done freshening up I reentered my room, but no one was there.

My closet door was open and I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Skai!" She shouted. She saw me and she smiled. "Oh,you're done. Can I wear these? They would look super cute on me." She showed me a dress. The top was a white laced fabric and the bottom was black with white flowers on it. It was cute, but I don't remember buying it, and it wasn't my style.

"Sure," I smiled. "And it would good great with these babies." I walked into the closet where my shows were and took up a pair of black platform pumps with strap buckles.

Her eyes lit up and you could see that she loved them. "Yes! Oh my God! Those are beautiful! I love them."

I laughed at her reaction. "Great," I smiled. "Cause they're yours now."

"Really?" She gasped.

"Yes Sky," I answered. "I'm not a heels person anyways. Now you get ready for school."

"Okay." She grinned, and ran off to the bathroom. Well I know how to make her happy.

I walked into the closet and grabbed the outfit I planned to wear today. It was a red blouse that had a pocket with grey and white design, a grey cardigan and black skinny jeans, with white converse. I got dressed and then sat on my bed while I waited on Sky to finish.

After what felt like a year, she came out looking stunning. She grinned and twirled in front of me. Her hair was perfectly curled and her makeup was applied like a nicely.

"You look nice." I complimented her.

"Thank you," she smiled. "Aren't you going to do your hair?"

"It's done." I said.

She shook her head in disapproval. "Skai, you cannot go to school with your hair like that." She took my hand and pulled me into the bathroom.

Ten minutes later, my hair was filled with bouncy curls and my makeup matching hers.

"You look so much better." She smiled.

I nodded in agreement.

"I don't apply makeup so you can't recognise my face, I just enhance the beauty that's already there."

"I can tell." I said looking in the mirror.

"Girls!" Veronica shouted. "Breakfast is ready! "

"Coming!" We shouted back. I grabbed my backpack and Skylar took up her handbag.

Her parents dropped it off last night after she told them she wouldn't be coming home. Kimberly was glad that Skylar and I found each other, but her dad seemed a bit sketchy to me. It was like he knew something that nobody else didn't.

We headed upstairs to the kitchen. Lysa, Liz and Jake were seated at the table. They each had a plate with pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. Yum.
