My name is Tyler Joseph, I'm a Freshmen in high school and today was the first day of 2nd quarter and honestly i couldn't be more terrified. And to add more stress, i just moved to Ohio less than a week ago because of my dads work.

i don't have any friends yet or maybe ever so i just kept my head down and tried to find my way to the main office. when i got to the office there were other students there. once i was able to get to somebody i got extremely shy.

"hello i am Mr. Westley and you are?" the man asked. "I-I'm Tyler Joseph. i'm the new freshman from Florida." i said. "ahh yes. i have set up for another student to take you around the school. to show you around" Mr. Westley said. my heart could have fallen out of my chest at the sound of this. "uh okay."  Mr. Westley walked to the door and opened it calling for somebody, i couldn't make out what he said. he came back over to me but this time a tall boy with red hair followed him.

"Tyler, this is Joshua. he's also a freshmen and he will be showing you around the school" Mr. Westley said. "uh Mr. Westley you can call me Josh" he said. "anyways Tyler you will follow Joshua -" he was cut  off. "Josh." the the red haired boy said "you will  follow JOSH" he practically  yelled his name. "around the school for today and for as long as it takes for us to get you placed in all of your classes." Mr Westley said "al-alright" i said quietly. i got up and we both made our way out.
once we got into the hallway Josh broke the short silence. "so Mr. Westley told me you're not from Ohio?" he said. "uh yeah" i said quietly. "where are you from?" Josh asked. "i'm from Florida." i said a little louder. " i love Florida!" Josh said with the biggest smile. "yeah i'm from Miami." i said "NO WAY!!! I GO THERE EVERY SUMMER" he said making me jump a little. "i'm sorry did i scare you?" Josh said. "just a little but its okay." i said

"Anyways tell me about yourself Tyler" he said curiously "um well i'm 14. I'll be 15 in December." i said. "when in December?" he asked. "December 1st." I answered. "nice."  josh responded. "what about you Josh. how old are you? when is your birthday?" i asked hiding my laughter starting to feel comfortable with him already. "i'm 15 and my birthday was June 18th" Josh said . "dang it" i said under my breath. "what?" josh said. "i was kinda hoping i was older but its okay i guess" i said. "why?" Josh said laughing a little. "because i'm shorter than you and now i'm finding out I'm  younger than you too. I've got nothing going for me here" i said.

"oh come on i bet you have something" Josh said looking as if he were holding something back. "nope. I've even been single my whole life" i said. "come on that can't be true. girls must be head over heals for you." Josh said. i could feel my face get hot as he said that. "that's not true." i said. "and why is that? He asked as he raised his eyebrows. i looked at the ground and then back at him hesitating to answer the question that was asked. "was i right or was i right?" he asked with a smirk on his face. "oh no you couldn't be more wrong." i said holding back  a laugh. "oh. well are you going to tell me why i couldn't be more wrong' or am i just going to have to wait?" he said looking me straight in the eye. "I guess you're just gonna have to wait Mr. Joshua....well I don't know your last name but when I do we can come back to this.

"I said laughing a little "Alright Mr Tyler. and by the way, my last name is Dun." he said. "wait. done. done like d-o-n-e. done?" i asked. "no Dun like D-u-n Dun" he said laughing. "oh. mine is Joseph." i say. "i like that 'Tyler Joseph' i was thinking of naming my first son that but now i don't think it will make sense." he said with a straight face. "wait what? why not?" i ask curiously. "nothing. never mind. hey look there's our first class." he said. "that still doesn't answer my question Josh. but anyways what class is it?" i said looking at the door about twenty feet away. "its social studies" Josh says.
