After I got some texting my mom I turned to Josh to tell him that my mom said I could stay.

We played Mario Kart until probably 7:30. We could have played longer but our eyes started to hurt and we started to get hungry so we headed downstairs to get something to eat.

"Hey mom, what's for dinner tonight?" Josh asked his mom. "We're having taco salad" She said facing away from him. As I excuses do myself to go to the bathroom Josh's mom asked him a question. "Is Tyler staying for dinner. Because if he is i'll a plate for him." She said. "Yeah he is. Don't worry mom, I'll get the plate." He said. "Thank you." She responded. "You're welcome mom." He said.

Even though I was in the bathroom I could still hear their conversation.(That sounds weird. But you know how sometimes the walls are really thin and you can hear literally everything? Well that's the walls in Josh's bathroom.)"You two boys have been hanging out a lot with each other." His mom said. "Yeah. His really cool to be around. He's a good friend." He said sounding happy. "That's good hun." She said.

After I left the bathroom I joined Josh in the living room. He was sitting on the couch flipping through the channels. "Whatcha looking for?" I asked him. "Nothing in particular. Just looking to see what's on right now." He responded. "Oh. Okay." I said. "Do you want to watch a movie after dinner?" He asked. "Yeah sure. Which one did you have in mind?" I asked. "Don't know. We can look once we're done eating." He said. "Okay." I responded.

About 15 minutes later Josh's mom called everyone into the dining room so we could eat. We all sat there for about 30 minutes. Once we were all completely finished with dinner we just continued to sit and talk.

"Mom, can we please be excused?" Ashley asked. "Yes you can. But put your cup and plate in the sink and then go get in your pajamas and Ashley please help your sister if she needs it" Their mom said. They did as they were told and headed to their room to get ready for bed

"So Tyler, you've lived in Ohio for a while and have spent a lot of time here but I still don't know much about you." Josh's dad said. "Well...I moved here from Miami, Florida" I said. "Oh really? I've assumed that Josh has told you that we go on vacation there every summer?" His dad asked. "Yes Sir he has." I said. "It's a very wonderful place to be." He said. "How have you liked it at school so far, Tyler?" His mom asked. "It's hard but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. But it's still school." I said sighing. They laughed. But I'm glad to have someone like Josh there with me. And I've met a lot of really cool and nice people. I would have met any of them if it wasn't for Josh showing me around in my first day." I said. "Well I'm glad you two are becoming such good friends." His dad said.

Me and Josh cleared the table and put the dishes in the sink and then went to pick out which movie we should watch. We decided on Ghost. We put the movie on in the living room and got some popcorn to go with the movie. About 30 minutes into the movie we got thirsty and got up to get some water. A while later we were both asleep.
