After I texted my mom I got up to look around for Josh. I walked down the hall and stopped at the bathroom because I wanted to see if anyone was in there and I also had to use the toilet. So I knocked. "Yes?" A voice came from the other side of the door. Sounding familiar. "Josh? Is that you?" I asked. "Yeah it is. I'll be done in a second." He answered. "Okay." So I waited for the short amount of time before he came out. When he did finally come out its seemed like it took for ever because when he opened the door I nearly knocked him down to use the bathroom. Thankfully, I didn't and he was okay.

I would have felt bad if I would have though. When I was done using the bathroom, I washed my hands and opened the door to go get my phone. Josh had been waiting in there for me. "You took a long time." He said. " You go all night without using the bathroom and see how long you take." I said. "Alright Tyler. Are you hungry." He said laughing without even trying to hide it. "As a matter of fact, I am very hungry." I said. "Okay well let's go get some food." He said. "And now...I'm a very happy Tyler." I said. "Do you always talk in third person?" He said laughing again.

"Sometimes. But most of the time I don't. It's normally when i just woke up. You've caught me at a bad time." I said as serious as I could be. "It's oaky Tyler. It's funny" he said. "But how though??" I asked. "Tyler. Just go with it." He said. "Alright. I guess." I said. " so where do you want to go have breakfast?" He asked me. "Um. Somewhere with pancakes. I'm really in the mood for pancakes right now." I said happily. "I was just thinking the same thing." He said enthusiastically.

"So where can we go that had pancakes." I asked. "Maybe McDonald's. Or maybe even IHOP." He said. "Well which one is good for you?" I asked. "I like them both but IHOP has more syrup options and their amazing. So IHOP." He said smiling. "Then IHOP it is." Because it was somewhat of a distance away and we were going to walk, we left right after Josh let his parents know what he was planing to do and other stuff your parents ask you when you leave. After a while of Josh talking to his parents they said he had to bring his sisters. Something about family.

I occupied myself on my phone so I wasn't really paying attention. I don't even remember what his mom said their names were. "Are you ready to go?" Josh asked me. "Just let me get my shoes on and then we can go." Once I got my shoes on we left to got breakfast. "How long are we going to be walking Joshy?" One of the girls asked. "I'm not sure Ashley." He responded. "Well does he know?" She asked. "No Ashley." He said. " are you sure he doesn't know?" Ashley asked. "If you mean 'he' as in Tyler, I'm absolutely positive he doesn't know how long we'll me walking for." He said. "How do you know?" He asked curiously. "Because he just moved here about a week ago and this is one of the first times he been around Columbus." He said while reaching his hand out so they could cross the street. "Oh okay." She said when we got to the other side of the street. After about forty minutes of walking we finally got to the restaurant.

We walked in and took out seats as soon as possible. "Girls? Go to the bathroom and wash your hands. Ashley, make sure to help Abigail if she can't reach the sink. Okay?" He asked the little girl. "Okay Joshy. I will." As the two girls left for the bathroom me and Josh started talking. "So. 'Joshy' huh?" I asked laughing a bit. "Absolutely. Apparently it was my nickname when I was a baby and it just kind of stuck for the last 15 years." He said smiling. "Makes sense. So how old are they?" I asked. " well Ashley is eight years old and Abigail is five years old." He said. After he answered both girls came back and sat down at the table.

"Abigail, did Ashley help you so you could wash your hands?" He asked. Abigail just nodded. "Good." He said. We stayed and ate for about an hour and thirty minutes. "Are you all about ready to go?" Josh asked them. "But Joossshh. I don't want to go home yet." Abigail said Whining. "Me neither, Josh." Ashley said. "Umm...." Josh said confused in what he was going to tell the first next. "Please Josh?" They both said. "Girls. What if Tyler wants to go home?" Josh said. "It's fine, Josh. I don't mind hanging out with you and your sisters." I said.

"Are you sure Tyler? You don't have to." He asked me. "I'm absolutely positive. Why don't we take them to the park we passed coming here?" I suggested. "OOO YEAH. CAN WE GO THERE?" Abigail asked excitedly. "Um yeah I guess. Just let me call mom and tell her there we are going to be for a while. Okay girls?" He asked both Abigail and Ashley. "Okay." They both say. When Josh called their mother, she requested to talk to her daughter. I think she was telling them to behave and other common things a mother would tell her young children when they are with out them. I also think she was tell them that because they were saying "Okay mommy". As soon and they were all done taking to their mother we were headed to the park we had passed on our way to the restaurant.

We were walking for about 25 minutes before we got there and when the park was in sight both of the girls ran straight for the slide. Me and Josh went and sat on the swings and watched the girls play and we also talked to each other almost the whole time. We were there for about two hours until Abigail came up to us. "Josh, I'm tired." She said. "Do you want to go home now Abbie? He asked her. She nodded.

"Okay I'll go get Ashley." He responded. As he went to go get his other sister, Abigail rested her head on a bench and seconds later she was asleep. "Josh, she fell asleep. Do you want me to carry her while you walk with Ashley?" I asked. "You really want to do that?" He responded. "Yeah. Used to carry my sister home when we were at the beach. I wouldn't mind doing it for you now." I said. "Thank you Tyler. That would really help me." He said. "Don't worry about it." I said. So I picked up Abigail. Josh grabbed Ashley's hand and we left.

The walk back to his house wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. His sister wasn't that heavy. And before I knew it, we were talking up the path way to his front door. We walked in and I set Abigail on the couch and then their mother covered her with a blanket. "Tyler, thanks for caring Abbie home. It was really helpful. What do I owe you?" He said.

"Not a thing. Don't even worry about it. It wasn't a problem at all Josh." I said. After we all got back to Josh's house, me and Josh decided to play some video games for a little bit until we both got hungry for lunch.

A little while after we ate, I went back to my house to take a shower and change because...well...I figured that not taking a shower in almost two days was a but gross.

Maybe about an hour I got a text from Josh. Or so I thought...
