When we arrived home mom sent Georgie to go play with her toys, whilst she and I went and sat on the couch. "Babygirl, I love you okay?" I nodded

"I love you too momma" she pulled me closer to her

"I only want what's best for you" she sung lightening the mood a little

"so we have to set some rules, and you're probably going to hate them and me buts I can't lose you" I slightly nodded getting more anxious about what the rules were going to be

"okay so first rule is you will be eating three meals a day and be monitored for two hours after each meal" I sighed and nodded

"second rule is you are going to give me all of your blades, right after we finish this" I nodded again

"thirdly, I want you to come to me when you feel like hurting yourself or you just need a hug because I will always be here, and no I do not care how late or early it is" she said whilst pulling me even closer to her, which was nearly impossible as I was already quite close to her

"fourthly, there will be body checks until I feel as though I can trust you" I huffed, feeling insecure about mom checking my body for cuts, she kissed my forehead

"lastly if you have any of those nightmares I want you to come straight to me" I nodded and snuggled into her, she kissed my forehead again and sighed before standing up

"come on baby, you've got to give me your blades and I have to check your cuts" I nodded sadly and followed mom upstairs.

It took her a while but she found majority of my blades, luckily I had three hidden in places she wouldn't even think of looking

"baby, is this it?" I nodded and she looked at me before leaving the room. She returned about five minutes later

"baby can you take you clothes off for me, you can leave your underwear on" I hesitantly nodded before getting undressed. Once I was undressed I moved my hands over my stomach to cover it

"babygirl, stop that you are so so skinny" mom said with tears in her eyes. She moved closer to me and ran her thumb over the cuts on my hips before moving to my wrist, a few tears rolled down her cheeks and she quickly wiped them away, but they were only replaced with more tears

"you are so skinny baby, like scary skinny" she sobbed, I shook my head

"babygirl you were skinny when I adopted you, you were on the low side of normal weight range, how much do you weigh now?" She asked sitting back down and pulling me into her lap

"65 pounds" I whispered, she gasped

"babygirl you are so underweight, you are so close to death baby, please eat, please for me, I can't lose you" she sobbed, I could tell she was heartbroken, and it made me feel terrible knowing that I had made her this upset. I wrapped my arms around her neck and she wrapped her arms around me, sobbing harder

"how did I not notice, I can feel your ribs baby there's nothing there protecting them just skin" I kissed her cheek

"you didn't notice because I didn't want you too momma, you aren't superwoman you know? You can't know everything and you shouldn't put that kind of pressure on yourself, do I think you're a hero? Hell yes, look at how many lives you've saved by speaking out, but Hero can't always wear their cape" she kissed my forehead

"I love you babygirl" I smiled and kissed her cheek over and over again

"I. Love. You. More" I said inbetween kisses, making her giggle. I wiped the excess of her tears away and helped her up off of the ground

"want to snuggle babygirl?" I nodded

"of course I do momma, but maybe we should check on Georgie and at least be in the same room as her" mom nodded and gave me my clothes, I quickly put them back in before she picked me and walked over to the room Georgie was in.

Her eyes lit up when we entered the room "Hi momma! Hi Evie!" She said cheerily, waving at us, I have her a small smile and sat down on the couch in the playroom, mom hugged her before sitting next to me and wrapping her arms around me. I leant my head on her chest, and she started to run her fingers through my hair, I heard a small sob come from her mouth, I looked up to her to see that she had a clump of my hair inbetween her fingers

"this is bad babygirl" she said looking at the hair

"I'm sorry momma" I was on the verge of tears, she rubbed my arm and I burst into tears, she kissed my cheek and let me cry into her chest. I looked up to see Georgie looking at me concerned, I faked a smile to her and she turned back around playing with her dolls, Mom pulled me onto her lap and I laid my head back on her chest

"baby, this is going to be an uncomfortable question but I need you to tell me the truth" I nodded

"have you still got your period?" I shook my head, a tear slipped from her eyes and I wiped it away

"baby, this is really bad, look at the color of your skin, you are so sickly pale and your hair is falling out, and your period is gone, you need help babygirl, help that I may not be able to give you" I shook my head rapidly

"please don't send me away momma, please, I'll be good, I promise, don't send me away" I started to hyperventilate, as I already had my head on moms chest she put one hand over one of my ears, leaving closer to the other

"breathe babygirl, listen to my heartbeat and breathe, feel my chest going up and down breathe" she soothed, I did as she said. After calming down I clung to mom

"please don't send me away" I said softly

"I'll try to help you as much as I can but if it gets out of hand I have to take you to treatment babygirl"
