Long time no see lovely haven't seen you since *counts* the 28th? Geez I need to step up my update game.

SPOV

2:00 PM

L- So instead of brunch we're gonna hike up to the Hollywood sign?
S- I prefer brunch.
A- Who said anything about hiking?
S- Well how else do we get up there?

I smiled watching my three companion's confused faces. I walked over to the nearest tree and signaled for them to follow. A few feet behind the tree was a secret path that me and Spags found a while ago that leads to the Hollywood sign.

A- Ta-da!
L- A path?
S- I'm confused.
D- Ally are you ok?

I sighed rolling my eyes and whistled. From behind a nearby rock, four cowboys and eight horses revealed themselves.

L- Wow Als, I'm impressed.
S- Holy shït we're riding horses!
D- I can be a actual cowboy for a bit.

I laughed at their excitement, appreciating their genuine expressions. Danny knew what was at the top of the path since he help me and Spags set this up meaning his reaction will be staged.

2:30 PM

We were halfway through our trek up the path. The girls were behind me and Danny since they didn't know where we were going. As we made our way up the path Dan would take random glances at me.

A- What?
D- Every time I see you you're wearing that same black shirt.
A- Problem?
D- Do you even wash that shirt?
A- Of course I do!
D- You should give it a break.
A- Nope.
D- Why?
A- I look damn good in this shirt.
D- Obviously.
A- I'm glad we agree.

As Dan was laughing we were coming up to the Hollywood sign. I told everyone to bring the horses over to the tree nearby that had food and drinks for the horses and we walked the rest of the way.

S- Sooo...
A- Sooo?
L- What's this surprise?
A- You'll see-
D- And you'll love it.

Once we made it to the Hollywood sign I led everyone to a cave that was hidden by some bushes, branches and leaves. When we went inside Stevie clung to my arm.

A- You ok there?
S- I'm not a big fan of caves.
A- You'll love this one.
S- What do you mean?

I looked at Danny and gave him the signal, he nodded and snapped his fingers. After a few seconds a blue light began to illuminate from the cave walls. We continued walking slowly and just as we were about to exit the cave I looked at Stevie as she and Lauren gazed amazed at the cave.

A- Nobody move.

They nodded and I clapped really loud and the blue light flew out of the cave past all of our bodies. After the light disappeared Stevie gasped and lightly whispered in pure shock.

S- Butterflies?
A- Butterflies.
S- Wow.
A- Aye Danny your turn.
D- Gotcha.

I smiled and looked at Stevie.

A- Duck.
S- What?
D- Whoo! Whoo!

I pulled Stevie to the ground as a swarm of dragonflies flew over us and out of the cave past Danny and Lauren. As the dragonflies cleared I stood up and helped Stevie up.
