RPOV (Ruby POV)

Thursday 2:15 PM 10 more days to find Ally

Stevie's been gone for a few days and things have been going great here at home base. Stevie calls multiple times a day to check up on the house and the kids. It's really easy taking care of them when all they really wanna do is just eat, sleep, and binge on Netflix. I was trying to decide if I should watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or House of Cards when there was a knock at the door.

R- Who is it?

The person didn't respond but instead knocked again slightly harder.

R- Stevie?

I got up and opened the door hoping to see Stevie.

R- Stevie! Did you fin-
??- Hi.

Standing before me was a man. He looked slightly embarrassed and was standing silently. Rocking on his feet from his heels to his toes he cleared his throat.

R- Ally?
??- No actually, I was looking for Stevie. Does Stevie Boebi live here by any chance?
R- That depends on who's asking.
??- Oh I'm sorry. I'm Stevie's friend, Brad.
R- She's never talked about you before.
B- That's probably because I've been outside of the country for a while. I had to take care of some...

2:25 PM

Brad looked around searching for a way to finish his sentence. I stared at him impatiently. I folded my arms and leant against the frame of the door.

B- I had to take care of some very important business.

I don't trust him he looks shady. Honestly who shows up at someone's house in a tailored suit that costs more than my left foot unless....

R- Oh hell no.
B- I'm sorry?
R- You're a divorce lawyer aren't you?

Brad laughs pulling his phone out of his back pocket. I raise my left brow wondering why he's laughing so much, he's basically trying to blow up my OTP! After he's survived his laughing fit he begins to speak.

B- No miss....
R- What Zit Tooya.
B- Well I'd like to have a name to call you.
R- My name is What Zit Tooya.

Brad was visibly annoyed but laughed it off lightly.

B- I need your real name ma'am.
R- What. Zit. Tooya.

He sighed loudly rubbing his hands over his face and standing silently just staring at me. He shook his head and put on a smile, that was obviously fake, and decided to continue the conversation.

B- Well Ms. What Zit Tooya, I'm not a divorce lawyer. I'd like to come in and talk to Stevie.
R- She isn't in.
B- Do you have a idea of when she'll return?
R- I'll let her know you stopped by.

Before he could say anything I shut the door in his face, locked it and grabbed my phone to call Stevie.

APOV

I'm walking through a forest and it feels like someone is watching me. I walk slowly along the path surrounded by darkness trees and fog. There's a howl in the distance that frightens me, I look around seeing different colored eyes peering through the darkness. I run fearing the animals that might be hungry enough to attack. Out of thin air a figure appears calling me, it seems panicked and I recognize the voice.
