A lot has happened in the past few days and Stevie handled it with the first option presented to her, alcohol. Of course in her drunken state she wanted to forget what little she could remember about her problems. As she left the club with Miley they got into an Uber, neither of them able to drive legally, and Stevie stumbled into the younger girls home immediately falling onto the love seat in front of her bursting into a fit of giggles. Miley followed Stevie a little less drunk than her standing near the back of the occupied seat giggling along with Stevie.

M- You want anything?

Through Stevie's giggles and mid-sentence drifts she manged to respond with little to no interference.

S- Water please.

12:50 AM

Miley nodded and went to the kitchen fixing her giggling friend a glass of ice water. On her way down the hall she realized the house had grown quiet, as soon as she entered the living room she was greeted by soft snores from the love seat. She stood by the coffee table placing Stevie's glass on a coaster along with some Advil for the morning after hangover. Stevie was lying on her stomach, head resting on her left cheek making her face toward the TV in the room, while one hand was over the arm rest and the other hung off. Her feet, still covered by her converse from their earlier escapade, were resting on the other arm rest on the other end of the seat. For the first time since Miley had seen her Stevie looked like she was in pure undisturbed peace as she slept, and the sight made her heart melt. She covered Stevie with a blanket, removed her shoes and put her head on a pillow.

M- Goodnight Stevie.

Miley stood by the light switch watching the sleeping beauty laying on her couch and was glad nothing that Stevie might regret happened tonight. Although she was upset that nothing actually happened she knew that Stevie's better judgement would've been the last thing to come to mind. A smile spread across her lips as she switched the light off, allowing the light of the full moon to shine in through the slightly open blinds, and walked back to her room to prepare for bed.

(What? You thought they would sleep together? Oh no no no we reserve the possible smut fam.)

《Meanwhile at the Boebi-Hills home 1:35 AM》

Lauren and Ruby are still going at it, every rude word and physical attack getting more and more harsh by the second. Ali, who'd shown up minutes after Stevie left with Miley, was unsuccessful in every attempt to break up their squabble. She'd sent the kids to sit outside to get some much needed air seeing as they both looked very pale and short of breath. The kids made their way to the roof watching the practically black night sky while the stars stayed in place. Whenever a cloud blocked a star cluster Harvey or Dinah would point to another cluster until the cloud passed. The night air was cool and relaxing, it filled the siblings' lungs with the scent of fresh dew and pure untouched oxygen. Eventually their silence had to be broken and Harvey would've been the first to do so if Dinah's silent sobs and light sniffles hadn't happened first. Harvey turned his head to the right hating the sigh of his sister crying, he grabbed her left hand with his right kissing the back of it and whispered.

H- Everything will be fine, I promise you that.

Dinah sniffled releasing a choked sob that made Harvey's heart practically collapse with sadness.

D- How do you know that for sure?

Harvey looked away from the doubtful expression on Dinah's face and looked toward the stars. Staring at a certain couple of stars that shined brighter than its competitors and smiled.
