~After the Rain~ (Soramafu)

Rumbling Thunder

As I walked through the door I already saw my friend Mafumafu sitting on the floor. I went to his side and greeted him. He looked at me and smiled like always. I really loved his smile, it always made me happy, it was just like a spell, you had to smile when you see him like this. I thought that everyone had to smile when they see this cute smile.

I looked at Mafumafu as he interrupted my thoughts with a little, "Hey Soraru." I sat down beside him and smiled as I said, "Hey Mafumafu, you're already here?" Mafumafu looked at me and mumbled, "Yeah, I wanted to be the first." I laughed a bit as he blushed, he always tried not to be childish but sometimes he just couldn't hide his childish side.

I began to eat my sandwich as I saw at first Sou and then Kain, who walked to us, Sou looked a little bit bothered, I thought it was because he didn't was in our class. He sat down beside Mafumafu and he offered him some things from his bento. I looked at Kain, who sat down beside me and I saw that he looked a little bit troubled, I already knew why he was bothered, but I couldn't help myself, so I asked him:"Would you like to talk with me after the school? You really look like something is troubling you.". He looked at me and said a little bit depressed, "Why? I'm OK. It's all alright!". I knew he lied, but I also knew that he is very stubborn about these things, so I decided not to ask anymore and let him be.

After the break, I and Mafumafu went in our class and the other went to their class, I was a little bit jealous because Sou and Mafumafu talked the whole time and I felt like a stranger, the fact that Kain kept the whole break silent, didn't make it any better. I looked at Mafumafu and thought that it sometimes had to look like I'm in love with him, so jealous I sometimes get.

I sighed about my thought and than concentrated on the classes and so the time passed and the lesson ended. After the school Kain, Sou, Mafumafu and I wanted to go to a cat café because Mafumafu never went to one and really liked cats. I was very excited and looked forward to it.

As Mafumafu and I went to the classroom of Kain and Sou both of them stood already in front of the door and waited for us. Mafumafu smiled and said, "Are we late?". Kain shaked his head and smiled a bit at Mafumafu. I was always a little bit suprised how happy Sou became every time he saw Mafumafu.

I put this thought aside and went with the friends of mine to the café, Mafumafu and Sou looked really happy, and like always I and Kain talked with each other about various things, I was always a little bit surprised about how good we could talk together, because normally I was a very quiet person and didn't talk much, but to talk with Kain sometimes really calmed me down.

After we arrived there, we sat down at a table and ordered our drinks, we all offered some juice and put down our bags. Mafumafu really was like a flash, he was so fast that I didn't even noticed that he already went to the cats. I got my juice and drank it, it was really tasty and after I took a sip, I also went to the cats and stroked them. Kain and Sou sat on the ground and both played with a white fluffy cat.

As I looked at Mafumafu I thought that something wasn't right because his eyes were swollen and also watering. I went to him and looked really worried at him and said in a low voice, "Are you alright?". Mafumafu looked at me and said a bit out of breath:"I-I don't know" He coughed and spoke again:"I can't breath". I looked at him and slowly all pieces were put together in my mind. The last time we went here I already realized that Mafumafu's eyes were also swollen and he had been sniffing all the time. As I realized that he maybe was allergic to cats I looked at Sou and Kain and shouted, "Call an ambulance! I think Mafumafu has an allergy to cats!". Mafumafu coughed and clung onto my arm and I stroke his back and pulled him into a hug. He trembled everywhere and I knew he was very scared, like me, I didn't know how to react in such situations, my heartbeat was really fast and I looked worried on his face, while I noticed that Kain spoke with the ambulance. Mafumafu looked at me and I noticed that he wanted to tell me something important, because he looked at me very honest and strained.
