Chapter 5 - A Fake But Brave Girl (Nicho's POV)

Nicho's POV

Yesterday I met this interesting girl. I haven't met a girl like her before in my life. I said she was interesting because she was different from other girls.

I could see easily that she always gives fake smiles to everyone, even to me when we first met. I thought she was a sluggish girl because she processed my words for a long time at first. But, it seemed like she was just confused.

In our first meeting, I just thought her as a strange girl with that fake smile plastered on her face. I realized it when she was talking with me yesterday after I introduced myself. After giving her name, we started talking but she was still nervous a bit when I was around her and gave me her fake smile. I didn't know why she gave that smile, but it was kinda irritating since she actually didn't show her true self to people, perhaps even to her friends.

But, when we first met that time, she told me her relationship with her family. I didn't really know what problem she had in her family... But she had problem with her parents, and her crying face.... It hurts me when I remembered that again...

She just wanted people to notice her so she acted like a good girl... huh?

I do know about other people's personality since I always pay attention to every single person's actions. I have to be good at this kind of thing so I can predict what enemies would do since I'm a wizard, one of top wizards amongst all of nobles in this country. I'm a very high-ranking noble so... I won't disappoint my parents.

I have a lot of benefits since I was born in this family. For example, I could know this world's secret. Actually, I didn't believe it that there was another world, real world. If they mentioned it as a real world, then is this real world too? Why would they call this world as otome world?

I had asked them about destruction of this world if people in real world didn't believe us. So, they called one person from real world who didn't give his name to us named O.W.H. He would gladly help us by making something named 'game' and some of our professional wizards even helped him. But, he would sell it with high price. He wanted money after all, and he didn't really care about this world.

I knew he was not a good person, but we needed his help... So, we still asked for his help.

I stood up from my bed and walked towards Luna's door. I knocked on her door and opened it slowly. She was still sleeping... and her face was so cute...

What? What am I saying? I don't love her at all and I just think her as an interesting girl... But why...?

I shook my head and wrote on a piece of paper. I wrote 'I'll be back in the evening. I have a job.'

Well, I received a job from Mr. O.W.H this morning. We had a few of new players and I had to keep an eye on the progress of players around these countries. It was so tiring... But I had to do it.

I walked out of the house and went to where Mr. O.W.H was.

"Good job. You can go home now."

I bowed to Mr. O.W.H and began preparing to go back to Luna's house.

I met a few of new players today and they were just same as the players I had met before. Just one person was different from other players, Luna.

When I arrived at the house, I opened the door and looked for her in her room. But, I couldn't find her.

I started looking for her once more in the house. And still, I couldn't find her at all.
