Sorry I haven’t updated in a while

I’ve actually been going out xD

Okay so the area where Jayden lives could be like the equivalent to……

Okayif anyone saw the Blind Side and where Michael lived where all his kinda gangster like friends were from. An area like that or if anyone saw Coach Carter or if anyone knows what The Projects look like. Yeah. Ok? Got it. Good.

“Give me back the remote, you oaf!” Riley told Ghost, trying to pry the remote from his hands but sadly he was much taller and he was currently holding the remote above his head. She smirked before charging towards Ghost and wrestled him to the ground and pried the remote out his hands. She had grown tired of watching basketball a long time ago.

“Nicely played my friend” Ghost said, patting her on the head, making her swat his hand away. Just then Ghost’s mother walked in, carrying several grocery bags in her hand and Ghost being the gentleman he is went to help her while Riley sat on the couch playing with her hands awkwardly.

“Thank you sweetie” his mother said and then she smiled kindly at Riley. “Hi, how are you Riley?” she asked politely, while she and Ghost started packing items into their fridge.

“I’m fine” Riley said, politely, moving to sit at the kitchen island.

“Do you want to stay for dinner?” she asked, her voice was slightly muffled because of the pack of frozen vegetables that she was clinging onto with her mouth while she stuffed something into the freezer.

“Sorry I have a date tonight” Riley said, checking the clock that was hung up on the wall. “Actually I have a date now. Bye Ms Edwards” she said, dashing for the front door.

“You didn’t say bye to me” she heard Ghost call out.

“Screw you!” she called back to him, smiling when she heard his laughter. A few of his neighbours stared at her but she ignored it. She was pretty sure they were all used to seeing her face around here. She was always in Jayden, Remy or Ghost’s house to avoid being in the orphanage.

She was somewhat glad that Ghost and Jayden lived so close together so she didn’t have that far of a run. She stopped when she reached the front steps of Jayden’s house. Libby was sitting there Mary on her lap.

“What are you doing here?” Libby asked rudely. Riley’s eyebrows shot up in surprise but she chose not to acknowledge Libby’s tone.

“I have a date with Jayden” she answered and Mary smiled up at her as she said that.

“You’re his girlfriend now?” Mary asked, with her finger in her mouth.

“No, we’re just friends” Riley said, it was true. He had never officially asked but maybe he didn’t need to. They had admitted their feelings for each other a month ago and he said he was falling in love with her. Maybe he was her boyfriend but she definitely wasn’t going to approach the topic.

“Ah so there’s hope” she heard Libby mutter sarcastically.

“Where’s Jay?” Riley asked, pretending not to hear Libby’s comments.

“He’s inside, go ahead” Mary said, struggling to open the heavy door for Riley. She stepped inside the now clean house and looked around for Jayden. The house wasn’t significantly big so it shouldn’t be hard.

“Jay?” she called out. She heard a few footsteps and someone lift her up from behind, resulting in a small squeal on her behalf. “You scared me!” she said, slapping a smirking Jayden on the chest.
